nice! this is my favorite for celebrating deer. I had this stuff the night I got my buck two friday's ago. I cut out the filet mignon and cooked with garlic and olive oil and bam, Sangre de Toro!

Im not sure what type it is, but its delicious. Cracked that baby open last night. Im no connoisseur of wine and the only way I can tell one red from another is by the label on the bottle lol.

That winery must have some crack marketing department- the word Montezuma (as in revenge) is not one that I want to think of when eating or drinking.

The winery is directly next to the Montezuma Wildlife Refuge, which is where the name came from.

Its a table wine, aka a blend of different types of grapes. Lots of people choose wine based on label, nothing wrong with that at all. The rules for wine consumption are,

1 Price doesnt matter, its who what when and where that counts

2 Never ever leave wine in the bottle, you MUST finish the whole bottle when you open it! Someone gave us a wine stopper once, I looked at it with a WTF? look and tossed it. LOL

Sounds like you need a drinking buddy, lol, my wife and I split the bottle. Two glasses each is ok, a whole bottle to your self will put a hurtin on ya and when you wake up the next day and find out you cleaned out the wine cooler good luck.

Wine is a good thing,My fav is Lake country Red not to sweet and not to bitter.And is also great to have with venison.To much and you feel like the squashed grapes that make a good wine.

My old lady picked me a wine it was a hazlitt white (white stag) it had a buck on the label and thats why she picked it. WOW was that freakin amazing like drinking juice fairly cheap to 7-8$ give it a try HAZLITT white stag with the deer on the label white it also said it went good with spicy food..

I liked them because because they have the sweet---dry chart on the back. Its a great beginers wine as far as learning what types are sweet and dry. My taste's have changed to a drier wine over time.

My fav's Simi - Cabernet Sauvignon. Second would be Alamos - Malbec.

We allways get at least one bottle of Mondavi Pinot Noir, select lable. I do like a good Malbec from time to time too. I do need a new wine cooler, damn fan motor burnt out twice on the one I have..cheap piece of crap!

Any one else buy wine by the case? Most places offer a discount if you are buying 12 at a time, usually 10% off. That last's us a good while, although we are more inclined to drink it if its there..lol
