Flooding!!!!!

Saw the videos from NYC and such this morning on the news, crazy stuff.

Pretty bad around me on the Island. We had 1 Tornado reported around 11 pm. I beleive it was more of a wind shear along the shore line then went out into the sound.

Here along the Pennsyltucky Border, we just dodged the bullet...We were right on the northern edge of the storm and most of it passed south and east of us...  Rained lightly all day, but no deluge....

My instagram is flooded with pics/videos of people dealing with floods. I had no issues thankfully but we got a ton of rain.

Funnel cloud is looking across the road from our daughter's house in southern NJ last evening. The destroyed houses are from 2 miles away from her. They just had some tree limbs come down in the yard. Truly hit or miss.

Took about 2 hours to do my 9 mile commute to Manhattan today. Every parkway in southern Westchester was under 4+ feet of water. In mount Vernon the Bronx river is up near 10'

Google it some crazy pics , I believe eight people died from the flooding in NYC, more then when the hurricane hit New Orleans .

LOL, i was talking about biz using the term flooded from his Instagram page. I did see the footage ,it looked nasty.

Heard from my in-laws last night that my BIL was driving home from work on 17 in Jersey during the storm and was hit by a wave of water that came over the median Jersey barrier. Car started to fill up with water and was getting swept away. He had to climb out window onto roof and rode it until his car got hung up on some higher ground on the edge of the rushing water and he was able to jump off and get his way out of it. He was real lucky.

Holy crap.....and I thought driving in a Bufalo snow storm was difficult...your BIL had some serious skills to pull that off.

He's young and in good shape. Literally a sink or swim situation. The adrenaline had to be pumping like crazy. He was REAL lucky his car drifted off to the side of the flood waters and got caught up.
