Last one off to school

Well the baby of the house is officially off to school.  My son and our last child is off to start his first day of UPK today .  Mom road the bus with him and I met him there.  He was so excited last night he got his bag packed, clothes picked out and ran to bed when we said it was time.  

Time goes to quick feels like I just sent my oldest to her first day of UPK and now she's a junior.  Wife was a crying mess when we got home. 

Tried taking pictures with him this morning before the bus but he was so hyper and excited to go I had to pretty much hold him down to get a couple.

As you know, enjoy every second, as time fly's by so fast.

My youngest grandson just started his senior year.................jeez, where did the time go?

My son got the bus this year for kindergarten, I think it tore at me more when he just walked up the stairs and sat down on his own then if he would have been sad and cried.

I had to kinda push him towards the other kids after we hugged him goodbye.  It takes him a little bit to open up so today he will probably be to himself.  He new where his little locker area was and his lunch info. He likes having a routine so he should thrive in school.  He has a kid from daycare in his class and he also knows the teacher from outside of school because my wife has been friends with her daughters since they were kids.

My son is the same way ,super shy at first ,thankfully there was a neighbor girl in the 3rd grade who made him feel more comfortable, she even sat with him onnthe bus for the ride home.

My Granddaughter just went to her first day in Kindergarten , apparently she was miffed because she talked so much during her lunch / drink break she didn't finish her Juicy Juice ! Poor Little Pollyanna ! LOL

Yeah last Friday I out my youngest daughter on the bus for her first time.  Time doth Fly.

My son started UPK today too. We dropped him off and he went in and didn’t even look back. When we picked him up he told us he has the best day ever.

And there I was ruining the best day was yesterday when he caught his first fish… shows what I know

Ok moog now you did it, my boys. The little guy in the first photo is now six seven. They do grow up fast .

As I college hunt and keep hearing from “my baby” how this is her last HS whatever, I don’t know that I can keep checking this thread. Tough when they grow up…and I stay so young and handsome!!!

yup, my daughters first day of Kindergarten was Thursday! ( we skipped pre-k last year with all the covid requirements) She was so confident it actually scared me. Told her teacher good luck with this one! (we requested the same teacher our son had a few years ago)

Well to top it off today we just got the PSAT sign up for out oldest my wife told me to shut up. Lol. Apparently sending the baby to school and PSAT stuff for the oldest in 2 days didn't set well with her.

Enjoy it and make the time. My oldest is now across the country doing her Masters at USC and my youngest graduated from HS last summer. It does not seem long ago I was helping with schoolwork, coaching their sports and being their taxi. Man the years fly by!
