I know one of the families that received one of Phade's deer. They could not afford groceries due to the breadwinner's sudden brain hemorrhage months earlier. It was a blessing to them for sure.3 points

OP can mean original post or original poster. Referencing the nature of the post, not you/your position. We're on the same page.2 points

Found a ton of ammo at a local shop yesterday; stocked up. Pulled into a gas station on the way home, where a super-hot blonde at the next pump noticed my ammo. "Ammo is really getting hard to find. Would you be interested in a sex-for-ammo trade?" she asked. "I don't know," I replied. "What kind of ammo do you have for trade?"2 points

Storing a loaded magazine in the oven????? Even if it didn't constitute a safety hazard, what would ever possess someone to put such a thing in an oven? Why didn't he put it in the refrigerator where it belongs?2 points

Making fun of others ability to spell or use proper grammer because they come from a different socioeconomic status. class, and education as you is quite uppish, supercilious, arrogant and haughty even for you early.2 points

And btw belo, when you antis are called elitists, its not just because you are anti crossbow. Its because of WHY you are anti crossbow, for nothing more than selfish reasons, and because you portray yourselves as better than others, or more of a hunter than someone that doesnt hunt the way you do.2 points

Just watched this video on You tube that was posted in July 2012 about the true source of killings and mass murders. Interesting... Makes you wonder why the Government is pushing "gun control" when in fact they should be pushing "Pharmacology control".1 point

You know of such people? How are you going about assuming hunters are killing these animals purely for their own pleasure and not with the intent of feeding others? You sure have a grim perception of hunters and humanity in general.1 point

Are you just naturally a troll? There are people out there that actually like to HELP others. What better way to help others, and enjoy doing what we hunters like, to hunt.1 point

From an observation point (I'm a fence sitter here), any point provided by people against the Xbow have had their points labeled as selfish (although I'm not against people being selfish in certain situations) by the pro xbow crowd in this thread. Most, but not all in the case of the reverse. The only exception I fully see is SteveB, but I think he's a bit older than most of us and seeing things differently based his recurve/trad hunting experience (Note POV is never wrong...it just "is"). Case in point to me was the banter between Culver and Belo on the shot being "easier." I think Belo explained that portion correctly and not for a selfish reason. I think he also agreed with Culver on the pre-shot requirements. I don't think that points to selfishness imo. Other aspect may not be the case, however. I think Grow may have hit it accurately (Am I really saying that?!?!?!).1 point

And there are shots that can be taken easier and more accurately with a compound. Same thing with a recurve vs compound vs crossbow.1 point

wide variety for me. 90s and early 2000s hip hop, most classic rock and most country excluding the taylor swifts, carrie underwoods, band perry and little big town. I'm also a sucker for doo wop, some rat pack and even the corny stuff from the 90s because every song triggers a memory from my childhood. my itunes is wild. lately i've had church, aldean and bryan on shuffle. But I've also been digging the lumineers. It's probably easier to mention what i dont like and that's death metal, 80s pop and disco.1 point

But that was 100% my fault and a bad case of buck fever that I hadn't felt in a while...lol. It wasn't form or from practice. If that was a paper target out there it would have been dead...lol. I do much better on buck when I cant watch them for 30 minutes before the shot. Ain't adrenaline great!!!.1 point

but would that be wise of them to 'stir the pot' that much? unless its added on to another felony say like drug trafficing, that would be lighting the fuse to an already explosive situation..... I wouldnt want to be the officer that tried to arrest the second person.1 point

Criminal possession inthe 3rd degree is a D felony. I thik if I purchased a Glock (Becasue some stores are saying they will sell the guns after April 15th without the mags) Right now you can buy them with a 10 round mag. but after April 15th you can't. I can buy a 10 round mag in PA though. If I bring that back and posess it it would fall under the Class D felony postion of the law. DB- You are correct i think for a 10 round mag loaded with 8 if you own it prior to the April 15th deadline. How they would know that I don't have a drawer full of those mags currently is beyond me. (for the internet police---I havee many many pre April 15th 10 round magazines so you can rest assured they are ALLLLLLLL legal)1 point

I'll bet Biz called the taxidermist when he lost his first tooth, lol Heck, I don't think he could pick his nose without one.1 point

My issue with the argument of things like "the only people who want them are the ones who don't want to practice" is that there are plenty of people who use vertical bows who practice very little. Unless they make a rule where you need to bring your bow and meet some sort of accuracy standard every year before you can pick up your bow license, I'd prefer the ones that can't be bothered to practice use something that is easier to shoot accurately.1 point

You can buy rabbit foot key chains for $.99 ! You need a few bucks we can take up a collection.1 point
-
Man! ...... That's cold.....lol. If there's an old stump nearby, maybe you could have the kid hold the pet rabbit in position so you could chop the feet off easier. Is rabbit season closed now? I would say that maybe you should go out and get your own rabbit. Even your buddy may look at you a little strange if you ask him....lol.1 point

Actually I know just as many bowhunters who start shooting the week before bow season as I do gun hunters who do the same.1 point

I have never understood the threat that guys feel from the crossbow... the crossbow has been a hunting weapon used throughout the ages... before the gun it was probably preferred by those that could get their hands on one... I really believe that any opposition to it is a selfish one... I have also never understood how hunters being in the woods before me with any other weapon should concern me.. unless I was really that worried about my ability as a hunter to be able to find and kill a deer...1 point

Taken in context the statement is "Most SLOB HUNTERS hunt with a gun because they are too lazy to put in the time with a bow. I'd prefer they didn't hunt at all but thats not an option."1 point

I was into classic rock but I slowly moved toward country music more so now as I get older. I can't stand the music teenagers listen to nowadays. My 15 soon to be 16 yo daughter always changes the stations on my car as soon as I pick her up from wherever. We always argue over the music she listens to which is often hip hop, rap, type music. I guess thats good for parties but driving?? Eh! Her sweet 16 is coming up and I'm not looking forward to all the music but I do know one song shes going to be playing for me when she calls me up to light a candle - the Mossy Oak song by Tracy Byrd. Yee! Haw! Lol!1 point
