I am not an expert but rotating crops has been done for years to keep the soil good, different plants use different nutrients out of the soil so rotating them keeps the soil from degrading. I would like to plant a arrow into a 10 pt buck or better!

In addition to doe not getting pregnant the first time we get fawns that will cycle for the first time. Between the fawns and doe coming back into heat it is a good time to be out hunting. Note: Fawns have to gain a good amount of weight to cycle the first year and some do get pregnant. With Nov 10th selected as peak rut the 2nd rut activity should be good this weekend, get out if you can! 28 days after the 10th is what I was thinking. Had a horrible November, hoping December is better! Have yet to get back into the woods since the ADK trip. Almost a full month of no bow during rut is killing me! Hope to get out and have some action this week! Good luck all!

That extra room makes a big difference, 2000 gram WOW that is crazy, I understand why some complain it's to warm. Those toe warmers work very well, also good to keep some in your gloves. (Note they need air to work properly!) A blood thinner like aspirin also helps with circulation, check with doctor, don't take if using any blood thinners. A good pair of thin socks like stated above (Polypropylene) work good for me along with a thicker pair on top.

Feel better Jerry! Only about a inch or two in western Suffolk, most will be melted by the end of the day. Sucks I was hoping for some tracking snow but it will be gone by Thursday when I go out. Typical of my season so far.

I was debating on this and bought a regular seat, 3 legs. Works for me, has a carry strap. My buddy loves this seat and swears by it, just not a good fit for my skinny butt!

Deer and Turkey are known to hang out together. Usually it's due to food source but they do seem to like each others company and like stated above a deer with his smell and turkey with eye sight are hard to approach without getting busted. Anything in the woods long enough will react to squirrels especially deer with there good hearing. They won't always move but if something is heard moving they will respond just to see what is present and if it is a real danger. Squirrels react to a variety of things not all are danger to deer. Bucks have been using young deer as decoys for years watching for movement when they get to an opening. No not all will do this but enough do that it is a known fact, doe do the same with fawns. I believe it is usually a younger deer that comes back after the bachelor group has broken up and he is not sure where to go and the older buck for some strange reason allows him to be at his side as he is no real threat and can be run off if a hot doe is present. JMO. True maturity starts at 3.5 with full development of bone structure. Full muscle development usually happens around 4 - 5 years old depending on food, genetics and stress.

Action is when you are filming game and not yourself talking or some other movement in the woods. Nothing wrong with talking as long as its not over 15 minutes or so, people tend to loose interest. Cool video DanielIT but you broke one of the rules, No kill shots. Like the way you stop them or at least try after the shot! I have some who will not even try that to stop them for the shot, which I do often. That was a quick shot, do you ever use that call to stop them for the shot? This is an old video but my first on film and with the bow, count how long it is before I take the shot! I get a full 10 seconds to aim! Well worth using the call to get a good aim point and shot placement. Showing your spirit could be a 5 min video of you talking about how much you enjoy the camaraderie, chase, friendship or even the solitude of hunting, does not need action to participate. Note: This video is not for this Show your spirit, it's just for education on why I love to stop them with this call. It gives you much more time to settle your pin on that one hair for exception aiming. It starts around the 1:20 mark if you want to fast forward. No need for me to stop this animal after the shot as I know it was a great and she went about 40 yards max. Even with 10 seconds I still pulled up slightly on the shot causing the arrow to break off the back half on impact, no pass through, broken arrow was flipped in the cavity facing the entry point.

I use layers and if wind or rain is possible I use 2 sets of rain gear but the new clothes are nice just a bit over priced for me. I still have my original Gore-Tex suit but only use it in sever weather during gun season, can't use it for bow as it is too bulky. I am also thinking about a bib setup as I have plenty of clothes for my upper body yet need to keep my shooting arm free from hitting the string. I have yet to get into a tree this season and usually stalk/still hunt so I can always move around if I get to cold. I always hesitate on buying really good clothes or should I say expensive clothes as I always put a broad head to them and put holes in it. lol I am a twirler lol. Gets me in trouble when the broad head is attached. Only bow guys will know what that means. Interested on what others use or recommend.

I would think it's good and the person is laughing, and would have to report them for TOUCHING ME! LMAO NOT! Next is your not allowed to say ANYTHING bad about anyone in public, screw free speech! Kids today are in trouble, what about when they play a sport that requires touching like soccer, football, baseball, basketball, wrestling, boxing or MMA. Can they report the other team players for misconduct not becoming of a kid, parent or coach? Crazy way this society is going! You could edit some of it out so we all don't have to watch you filming the woods. Up to you if you think people will bash you then don't post it. Would be interesting to see what you are talking about though. I can tell you this: If you do not have action in a hour and a half video you will loose people after the first 5-10 minutes. Most get real bored when people start talking about how you setup, your clothes, equipment and how this spot is so good. Most of us want to see deer or some animal unaware of your presence or even aware. If you have 1.5 hours of you talking then most will not watch it. Should be less than 20 min.

So now when I enter a door, IF I brush up against someone I can claim sexual assault or they can. They brushed into me I just stood in the doorway.
