  1. Welcome aboard! Good luck this year!
  2. Welcome aboard! Great to have you!
  3. You can post as many videos as you want but it would be better if you did a bunch then picked the best to post. I don't want to watch 30 videos from one person, lets set a general limit at 5 videos with no penalty for doing more. Showing the woods is ok but how about some info on why you love to hunt like that early morning sunrise we love so much. Talk about the sounds and smells, changing of the leaves or a special sound we all love the hear like the cadence of a walking deer. Or how grateful you are to enjoy the company of other hunters in your camp or circle. Just some ideas. Your video could be done at home just telling a story about how you enjoy nature. It could be all about the big buck you took or a doe for food. Have fun with it! That's what this is all about!
  4. Wow Congrats to him! Beauty of a buck!
  5. Great looking young buck! I would estimate 115 ish. Not sure his right side would count the G4 as a point making him a 9pt if the left side G4 is an inch, looks like it would count.
  6. Def 2.5 weight about 140-155 dressed.
  7. Way to get it done! Awesome and congrats!
  8. Saw 14 deer mostly doe with fawns Friday and a few (3) yesterday with a friend I am trying to get his first deer with a bow. Still early like stated above the best is still to come but it was nice just to get out and see deer!
  9. This is my channel, I have not uploaded many videos recently and was looking at new camcorders. GoPro is ok but not great for distance. https://www.youtube.com/user/NFAGETSOME/
  10. I was in automotive industry for 13 years, craftsman was not the choice for us as we need tools that did not brake unless excessive force is used. Ok for basic purposes but they are the cheapest of tools for a reason! Simply put you get what you paid for in tools.
  11. The best is when Microsoft calls my house and says my computer is infected! I say which one? I have 7 so is it the XP, window 7, 8, Vista or windows 10? They always say the XP computer! Then I say ok that has not been on for years or I will act like I am doing what they say then get a blue screen and ask how to fix it. You have to try it out is is fun especially when you are bored! So fun messing with them! Even better is when they call and say you owe the IRS money, those idiots I keep on the phone as long as possible to stop them from getting to someone else!

    Good Luck!!

Best of luck to all, be safe!
  13. No real limit on how you do the video. You can show tracking, sunrise, add music, deer doing anything, friend and family, all about what you love when hunting. Have fun with it!
  14. I agree that if the shot was a good one a grid search is needed but I also understand a tracking guild with dog would much rather have a clean trail for tracking.
  15. Still using my 40$ Bushnell's they are ok but need to upgrade at one point just being cheap I guess. Looked at a bunch this past year and see the difference in cheap and really good pair but most are too big for what I do. Leupold makes good glass, should be ok for you, similar to what I am looking for once I brake the old ones! Good thing about a cheap pair is I can abuse them, loose them, brake them and not care! Eventually!
  16. Awesome mount! Love the pose! Looks great! Hats off to the taxidermy!
  17. If your interested I usually set up camp in Moose River Plains. Not so sure it will be done this year as we are having issues setting a date. You would have an open spot if your interested! Would only need your gear as I have extra cots. I will let you know when we set a date even if you just wanted to come and check it out for a later date.
  18. Really enjoyed your videos! Thank you for your service. Wishing nothing but the best as your journey continues.
  19. Knife, drag rope, wash and spray clothes, replace batteries. Any other details I work out through the bow season to be ready for the big ADK trip that might not even happen this year.
  20. Those are typical deer I pass, not so sure this year. Good luck 2 good looking young bucks! Hope a bigger one comes your way! Looks like a 9 pt vs a clean 10.
  21. Stalking! Sitting and calling! Might try my climber later in the season.
