  1. Hey guys, tuned broadheads today. had a quick question for our forum experts... My process was shoot one field point and one broadhead at each pin (3 times each to take the human element out of it). my bh's and field points were all bullseys at 20 and 30 yds. at 40 yards, bh was 2-3 inches left of bullseye, and 3-4 inches left at 50 yds.. my question is can this be solved by inceasing or decreasing poundage? im trying to not move the rest, as i dont have clearance issues now, and dont want any. any input would be appreciated. my setup is below: Hoyt Rampage XT 29inch dl 65# Goltip XT hunters 7795 black 100gr slick trick mags

Happy bday man. hopefully you get in the woods today
  3. The math would work, as you could postulate the longer pin positions based on the gap between the 20 and 30 pin, you just gotta hope they did their job in setting the distances
  4. ive got 6 or 7 tres prepped for my climber. i started early, and in shorts, and i have the poison ivy to prove it. lol. been seeing a few beautiful bucks on the fields at night, just praying they keep that pattern into october 1st
  5. Im seeing alot of arguements on here, nickel and diming, over small issues.. This election ois about 1 thing.. THE ECONOMY.. one guy wants to revive it, the other wants 4 more years to continue to destroy it. These arent opinions they are facts
  6. what bow did you get? and how big are your pins
  7. Oh look, NYS still killing business.. Guess all those DeNiro commercials their wasting tax dollars on, saying "NY works for business" are total bullshit.. shocking
  8. you could hunt this year, if you get to the range after work each night, im helping a buddy do this now
  9. I hate that.. Half these guys would never shoot a single deer in gun season in NY.. Most every hunter i know here will take the first ethical opportunity and bury them.
  10. yeaa definitely not something id want to do again. i shoot Goldtip XT hunters, and thankfully i can save the second arrow
  11. i find the bullet weight is more improtant than bullet type.. my 06 will stack 150 gr bullets in the bullseye all day, but if i load in 165's or 180's its out to a 6 inch group.. That being said, the hornady SST's have served me well
  12. I shoot 2 arrows before work every morning in the summer just to stay sharp on a 25 yd lil range i set up in my back yard.. It cost me 10 bucks this morning, but still kinda cool..
  13. Welcome aboard.. where abouts in 7m are you?

  16. Its rudolph!! the 1.5 yr olds around here seem to have those tight lil racks like that.
  17. You'd be much better off taking a 2nd note on your home, rather than borrowing from your 401(k). borrowing from your retirement doesnt just mean that you pay yourself back and all is even. your also losing the time value of that money, and the compound interest that comes with it..
  18. Its pretty common up there actually, juts not for bucks. There's 20 or 30 deer that basically live right in town, that im pretty sure are fed all year long, and no one shoots at them.. I have have had young ones walk right up to me in the woods, 4-5miles up in the mountains and just stare at you, likely because they havent seen a human yet
