    Shot a deer on December 5th 2010 and as it ran one if its antler fell off. It was low logout by the time I walked up to it, I thought I shot the doe it was following by accident lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    If you found fat, you probably hit the brisket. Hopefully she makes it. Sorry this happened to you but it happens to all hunters eventually.

    I don't do it cause I don't want to have to clean the blood off my car, but I would have no problem doing it. I think people need to see where meat comes from. Many people have a disconnect to their meat so this is important for them to see. As a kid I was never been "scared" when I saw a deer on top of a car...even before started hunting. As long as their not ruining the meat, I don't care how they transport the deer.

    Noticed a huge difference myself. 6,5 and 4 years ago id hear close to 30-40 shots in the first few hours but this year i heard maybe 20 shots all day.

    I know you guys have probably seen this a million times but what do you think of the age and score on this guy? Im thinking 3.5 years and some where in the 120's, but then again i'm not that good at this. Either way this guy would get shot if it came anywhere near my stand.

    Just had 3 buck chase a doe at 45 yards. Doe gave me no shot and all three bucks had their racks completely busted. Hopefully she comes back with a big boy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Saw one doe on the way in this morning. Have heard hen turkeys since day light and have seen gobblers strutting and gobbling since that time as well. They're still going at it as we speak Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Well a quick look on the map shows there is plenty of public land near binghamton. You might be better off hunting those parcels that aren't easier to get to though.

    Picked 2 off me on the 8th. Normally I hunt a patch of woods that doesn't have many ticks but this time I was hunting near some golden rod and I picked 2 up while walking through them. After a thorough search I didn't have any more ticks on me, but anytime I find a tick attached to me I always take a 10 day dose of antibiotics.
