As I age I've found for many items I'd rather have one of the best to start with , than go through several lesser items only to end up with the best one eventually . Buy the best cry only once .

I hear ya, I have 3 sets of Lone Wolf and 1 Muddy that I leave on trees the whole season , it's always nice to see them still there...... I was taking the bottom one off and hiding it, problem was I'm better at hiding than finding! Also an athletic person could still jump and reach the second one and climb up and take the two remaining .

I bought ten of the travel mugs, for gifts to the guys at work and the owners of the farm I hunt. Everyone loves them! Now for a short commute you'll have to start with your coffee at a drinkable temperature as they hold the temperature for a long time . But for long drives, hunting ,out on the boat , pour it in hot and you'll have hot coffee for a long long time. One guy at work has a cooler and he's very pleased with it, he loads it up with ice and drinks and leaves it in his truck, stays cold for days in The summer heat and sun.

Worked today , but don't turkey hunt more then once or twice a year anyways . Tomorrow a guy from work ( a rival truck company no less ) will hunt my land with his young son . I,let them have the run of the place .

Tom Coughlins sister bought her building lot off my father in law , her husband is Toms best friend , he would tell me stuff about the team , but I had no,idea as I don't follow football. A past QB ,Collins lives in Nashville and my Nephew is friends with him. My nephew has a players pass to the Titans as he's friends with one of their players too, idk maybe someday I'll take him up on an offer to go to a game . I'll say Tom Coughln is a class act , one of our Firefighters retired after 30 years in the hood, Bronze Star from Viet Nam, quietly went to ground zero as well .He's a big Giant fan , Tom sent him a ball signed by the whole team and a letter the made a couple hundred macho FF well up at the retirement party . Go,Giants !

I'm sorry to hear that, they did all kinds of tests. Pressure test, dilated them, photos , said eyes are healthy things look good . Torn retina is my concern , but they down played that at this point. I guess if it breaks free It leaves a spot on retina , that they can then laser . Still "watching " it for a few more days till I feel more comfortable , dispite what's the say, then go back in a month .

After LASIK my eyes were / are great , Dr said they're healthy and vision is still very good, this is just weird though . They took me from 20/200 to 20/20 but can't do,anything for a dancing Sea Horse.

And to,make matters worse yesterday , I bought 4 , 6 foot X 12 inch pine boards , as I,left the check out and put them on my shoulder, the girl asked if ," I got that alright? " Wth I told her I could put her on my shoulder and do squats , I guess I'm getting old and grumpy !

Wth I walk out a store and all the sudden I see some dark cell like thing bouncing around in front of my eye, go home do,the Google thing , seems like a floater. Now I know two guys who had detached retinas and that's horrible and I have a eye "thing" don't even like putting in drops. So,it bugged me pretty bad till I saw the DR. I see the Dr who did my LASIK , Floater, a good sized one, " looks like a Sea Horse!"...... Wonderful there's a darn Sea Horse in my eye , and its front and center ! At least it's not buck shaped as I might be shooting rounds all over the woods at some floating deer. I hope it breaks up its very annoying . Any of you other old guys deal with this ?

If I'm off , I'd love to come , if it's an open type thing .

They probably already gotten whole parking lots covered with poop , so moved up the roof to cover that as well .

I'm following this as I was thinking the same two trucks . In my case , I'm 57 and owned cars since I was 18 ,total I've spent is around 80 K . That includes cars for my wife as well , so as one may guess sticker shock is in place also . Although after paying for 11 years of college it doesn't seem all that much .....

Around where I live if you pull a tick off its straight to the Dr's for a test and drugs . If you wait to see a bullseye its way to late , my DR. Wouldn't let me wait over night to come in.

She's gotten requests from surgeons in other countries for some of these cakes . But it's not a business , just a hobbie , yet I feel some would pay big bucks . Hey some folks put there kids faces on a cake and cut them up and eat them.....

That's a good kit and shows thought and knowledge , Many don't even know what a Life Straw is. Cordage is very handy for many things including shelter building , extra knife and compass , two is one , one is none.I might add a contractor grade trash bag or drum liner for rain protection, either wearing or over the shelter , also can stuff with leaves to insulate you from the ground . Just my two cents , I figure you know what you're doing .

Really hate to follow Sam ...... Went to a friends land in Macedon . I don't know the land well , only hop in one of his stands a couple times a year. Walked it to learn the land better and shoot my new Glock. Found the shed 50 minutes in to the walk and the small head a few minutes after. Number 7 shed for me in maybe 12 to 15 hours of walking around blindly. I just can't grid search to boring for me I just hike trails and such looking for good spots to hang stands .

Ok my all time favorite beer , Dogdish head , raisin d'etre ! Today is my "Friday" caught a nice house fire at the end of our shift , then hit Park Ave for a few with the brothers. Home now listening to the Mrs. " talk" ......

It's a group of us , once a month at a friends house on the bay, 16 players . It's gets crazy , shots of fireball with the song playing at full balast ,conga lines and so on .... I took second place .
