I have a couple friends who collect them. Very cool.

Looks like the Rompola Buck.....LOL!

Maybe all the city slickers, flatlanders and weekend warriors should buy up some country property and move in full time. That way they won't be traipsing through the woods in messin' up all the hunting?

First off, who gives a schit? 2nd, find yourself a range that has NO background noise next time. 3rd, this is just a ploy to suck guys into your personal site? Maybe I'm wrong on that one. Enlighten me....... After you find a range a bit further from the superhighway, screw on a field point and do your test. The sound will be just the same as the broad head tipped arrows I bet.

Orrrrrrrr, you could send your guys over HERE! <grin> -
Where are you moving to?

Nice job, Doc! Those shafts are soooo easy to spot in late October amongst the pretty yellow & orange leaves!! I don't really miss them although they were a great shooting shaft. I used to tip mine with Razorbak 5's mostly, when shot out of the compound.

And I'll say it again.......drama.

I just checked my basement, I'm all out of them. Probably used them all for paint stirs and tomato stakes! I know a couple guys who still have them and used them in the past 5 years. I could get a picture but it would entail a hour out of my already hideously busy day and that in turn would cut into my English language studies, and that ain't gonna happen! >grin<

Remember the Easton autumn orange? How in the heck did we kill anything with ORANGE arrows??
-
Black powder? I like it too. Once you go black......you won't go back. >grin<

No. I'd worry about the mold in the closet. Basement, 1st floor or 2nd floor closet?

You have room in a safe for them? You probably should discuss your liability in the event of a fire, flood or theft. Good way to monkey up a friendship!

Deer and Bear rifle

And another +1 on the optics choices. I only have one 1.5-5 VariXIII and it sits on my 375HNH. The rifle (Sako AV Deluxe) and the scope are both in gloss and really complement each other. Here's to you smokin' some game!! -
I had a stocked bird up in a pine tree last year that wouldn't fly. I'm banging on the tree, tossing sticks at it etc. My dog is going bonkers and can't see the bastid. It was a real thick stand of 25' trees. To satisfy the dog, I brought it to bag. They do taste the same. We have 30 birds coming this weekend for a shoot. Keep in mind, NEVER shoot a bird on the ground when working dogs!!!!! NEVER!!!!

Slick Trick 100gr Magnums. I've killed with Zwickey, Magnus, Wensel Woodsman, Razor Back 5 and Savora and lately the ST's

Shaking my head...................... The guy that shoots a Blaser runs a HP? Tooooooooo practical for my taste. LOL

I just settled on a load for my 243, 80 grain Barnes TTSX with 46 grains of IMR 4350, chrono'd at 3425fps. Accuarcy is good, a shade under an inch. I shoot probably 30 loads while messing with seating depth and ended up at 0.100 off lands. (almost a mile!)

If you want to borrow my CED chronograph, I'll be passing through your neck of the woods pretty soon. I don't anticipate needing it back for a while.
