Lots of boring pictures of branches blowing in the breeze, but I am pretty excited about these piebald deer! I saw them feeding in a field last night and noticed they looked weird. I thought it was just the way the sunlight was hitting them. The little one looks like a buck. Hope they stick around.

My guess is grubs. Dig up some dirt and see if you turn up any critters.

Well, I got 2 as of fresh homemade maple syrup in exchange, so “GOOD TRADE”

I did have a friend and his grandson here yesterday and today. They got a nice Tom, 20#’s, 1 1/4 inch spurs, 9 1/2 inch beard. Very nice first bird for him! (I have a pic but won’t post here without their permission)

A sturdy vessel, and already has lots of fish guts and blood all over it. Maybe some spilled beverages as well.

Dan, where in Ontario do you go? (General location). Is it public or private property? I go up there frequently but have never thought about turkey hunting there.

Our gun club has a strict "No alcohol" policy for the premises. Most of the other gun clubs around have a bar and serve alcohol during Trap shoots, etc. Visiting trap teams to our club are sometimes not happy when we don't have a bar, and a few individuals have been asked to leave because they bring beer with them. I think the level should be zero.

You had me until Old Milwaukee I have two Weber Genesis grills from 28 years ago. I bought one for my Mother, one for me, and one for my Brother in Law. We all had milestone birthdays that year. All three grills still going strong, even the igniters work and have never been replaced. I do have a charcoal grill at camp that I enjoy using, but that is only when I have a few hours to watch over a low smoke or cook time.
