Yeah the problem is you can't see that little twig out at 40-50 yards. Just can't don't care who you are plus wind will push arrows a lot more than you think.

I think another big thing is to stay in shape. I know round is a shape but if you can lift your body weight you have a better chance.

I wouldn't worry about missing days this early. Use these days as scouting days. if it is rainging take a shotgun out and look for sign and maybe bag a turkey.

I agree I have been seeing people out in the pouring rain and I can't believe it. Just imagine you get that shot on your trophy and something goes wrong. Now you have to track him. Good luck when you rely on a blood trail and it is being washed away.

I did this year while pig hunting had to move quickly to get to another spot to cut the pigs off. While doing so I took the arrow off the bow and started a quick walk and the broadhead touched the string. Let's just say the pigs got a free be that day. Now I'd on the move I have them in a quiver.

People are so stupid. When I first saw the pic I was like damn then I noticed how big this guys smile was! (Non exsitant). I got the feeling that it was not right. Any body I know couldn't stop smiling. Thing that really sucks about this it gives hunters a bad vibe with everybody plus if anybody does get a nice deer everybody is sceptical because of stuff like this. Guys a jerk. To bad mike supported him brought his name in he mud too.

If you want waterfowl hunt you can pick the mowhawk or hudson rivers there are tons of places you can hunt if you have a boat. If you don"t have a boat check out the visher ferry perserve. You have to get a permit but it is free. you just have to go to the Clifton Park Town Hall and get the permit. There are alot of hunters that use this area but there are alot of birds to. Just get there early.

People tend to have problems with their arrows when the arrows aren't properly tuned the bow they are shooting it out of. Spine stiffness broadhead weight and F.O.C. all make differences when shooting. I would first make sure his field tips and broadheads are the same weight. Then try building out your side plate or arrow rest depending what you are using to hold your arrow. Make sure he makes very small adjustments and knows what he did. If he moves it to much he will want to bring it back to where he started from and try the other way etc.
