  1. If its attached to my backpack, while my backpack is on my back....its visible. If its attached to the back of my coat, and I have my backpack on, the tag is NOT visible on my back.
  2. I put my back tag on either my backpack, or on the shoulder strap of my climber stand, I change outerwear often, so I have forgotten it many times in the past. I was checked a few weeks ago by an ENCON officer, he checked my equipment, my actual license and tags were in the vehicle. He saw my back tag attached to my climber shoulder strap, did not say one word about it. I retrieved my license and tags from the car as they were NOT on my person, showed him, he checked them over, and handed back to me, and said "have a nice day." Got in his truck and left.
  3. Welcome! Cicero here. I hunt 7F, and 7J out in Madison County.
  4. Ive done both with Xbow. Depends on the day and the conditions.
  5. I have dismissed 3rd party candidates my entire life until Larry Sharpe came along. He is the first 3rd party candidate that seems viable. I agree with your statement, if they garnered more support early, I think the reason they don't is 99% of the candidates are whack-os.
  6. So do votes for Green Hippy Hawkins or Ex Syracuse Mayor Miner steal votes from Cuomo and give to Molinaro??? How does that work?
  7. lets face it, the NYS Republicans(those that run for office) are a joke.
  8. Same! I'm voting red down the line except for NYS Gov. I think Sharpe has a real shot, he's pulling moderate Dems, Reps, and people who claim to never vote. I dont believe any of the polling data that says Sharpe is somewhere around 10% or less. Those polls told us Killary was 97% going to be POTUS. Sharpe has visited all 62 counties, multiple times....I dont think the others have. Sharpe has some powerful name recognition. His campaign is somewhat unconventionable, but it seems to be making some major strides. Molinaro up to this point has basically from my perspective, not even trying to run an aggressive campaign. Not to mention his running mate for LT Gov, is on video basically praising the SAFE ACT. Plus none of the NYC Dems are going to vote for him. I hope that Hawkins and Miner steal as many hippy votes away from Cuomo, and Sharpe gets over 30% of the vote from both sides, and all the others in the middle. We can continue to vote D and R as we always do and then bitch about it afterwards....or try something different and vote for Larry Sharpe.
  9. 3d printed a paper towel holder for the garage. printed a magnetic cup holder for the John Deere, that holds a yeti beer coozie just right. Also need to print an action camera mount for the xbow.
  10. 7M/7J border Madison county. Sunday I saw a mature buck creeping through not really on a mission, but who knows. A few doe came blasting out of the woods where he was headed about a half hour after I saw him. Then shortly there after, a young spike buck was actively chasing around a group of small does. There was an open scrape near my stand....yesterday morning barely any movement, and the scrape had some leaves in it. Perhaps it'll pick up again quickly. I hung some cameras by the scrape, and over in the area where I saw the mature buck pass through. We'll see what turns up.
  11. https://www.blindedhunting.com/qsafe This tree strap is great for using with your climber. I bought one 2 years ago, and its been great.
  12. Today is my first tome out so far. I saw two doe early, way out behind me, and a fisher just passed through. I couldn’t get my phone out fast enough for a picture.
  13. Morning! I just purchased some Sawyers tick spray(yellow can), and I was wondering since I"ve never used it before....Would I just treat my outer layers of clothing, or does anyone treat ALL clothes that you wear out while hunting? Just curious. Thanks.
  14. Congratulations young man!
  15. I like to build stuff with wood. I built a kitchen table, and I just finished up a matching bench(sans stain/poly). I also just picked up a 3D printer, that thing is way cool. Hoping to use it to get my kids off the video games some. Hitting the range to punch holes in paper is fun too.
  16. I built a fixed mag AR, but I used the Mean Arms mag lock. I was thinking of building a featureless rifle, but I already own an Ares SCR....decisions, decisions!
  17. That looks pretty damn good for featureless. Is that the Thorsden Gen 3 stock?
  18. I'm so not ready this year. I've practiced some, but not as much as I should be....its still in the 80's. I'll likely fumble through opening day if I go(just because)...likely I wont get "serious" until the later half of October.
  19. Outside of the bows my Dad let me use when I was younger....I've owned two. An old 90's PSE 1000S I think it was, and my current bow 2011 Mathews Z7X-treme. My son has a Mission Menace, not sure the year, we bought it used, and we have a few kids bows as well.
  20. From this morning with my 5 year old. We both had our lines in the water at the same time, he had a nightcrawler with a bobber on his pole and I had a nighrcrawler set up with a bottom rig. Carters bobber drops, and I give him he heads up...he reels in a respectable Largemouth, then upon returning it to the water, my rod jiggles and I reeled in my personal best Largemouth bass. 15.5” long.
  21. MEH! Ive had it done on my wifes last car, seemed to show no rust. My current car is a 14 and I didnt do any of that, I wash it periodically over the winter months, nothing major to report on the rust side of things. My wife's current car same thing. My mom's old Ford she had back in the early 2000's had one of those ionizer boxes installed, and that car had ZERO rust on it, even on stone chips and light scratches, there was no sign of rust.
