The battle,over gun rights
grampy replied to Nomad's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
I cannot fathom the heartbreak a parent must feel to lose a child to gun violence. In school or otherwise. And understandably, emotions are high at this time, after another senseless killing, by a mentality deficit coward. No the NRA is not perfect, but I'll continue to support them. For the vast majority of gun owners, are decent law abiding citizens. And by far the NRA, is the loudest voice, to speak up for the law abiding gun owners of this country. Together we stand. Divided we fall. -
The arrow head plaque really sets it off nicely! Great buck!

Just met up with Jdubs. Great guy! Thanks for the good deal John!

2011 Yamaha 450 grizzly
grampy replied to First-light's topic in ATV's , UTV's, Dirtbikes & Snowmobiles
Kelly Blue Book has it at $4,160.00. So go from that. It is an excellent machine. I've got an 06 and it's served us well! -
That's all my grandmother ever used. The smell of woodsmoke, bacon, and coffee, still brings back fond memories. Some of the best food I've ever eaten, was cooked on that stove. I married a city girl. So no way, would she consider a wood stove to cook on.

Nice painting moog. I'm in the auction! How bout a 2006 Nissan Frontier with just a little rust? Will get you up in the back, at Mendon, better than a Ferrari. And Dinsdale would probably have you putting on a one man drive for cape buffalo! Don't think I can beat Nomad's offer though.........grin.
-
Yes sir! You got it.
-
Oh yeah!

It's all about give and take! I tag along with my wife Bonnie, to craft shows, to carry around whatever she buys. I always do it with a smile, as she really enjoys going to these things. And in turn, she is my biggest supporter when it comes to hunting and fishing. Have fun painting with your lovely wife Ana! It's her day, make it special for her! And post a pic of YOUR painting!............grin

Killed while walking her dogs at 5:30, that's dark

I still believe the woman and her family will see justice done. And rightly so. -
Otto, each time you post pic's, they look better and better! Great job! Keep it going!

Spring "was" here on Wednesday, when the temp hit 73 degrees! Then we got five inches of wet snow yesterday! Looking forward to the next warm-up!

Wow!!! Cool video! Having had a couple "CLOSE" encounters with bears from a ground blind, I can attest, that it does raise your heart rate substantially!

Congratulations! Couple of nice bucks there! And there were no shortage of deer on your hunt. Though this may not be the type of hunt for me. I have no problem, with any other hunter, legally hunting the way they choose to.
-
Not sure of the score. But it's a very nice buck! Great job, and congratulations on your first buck! You may kill a bigger one, but no deer will ever be more special than your first. Two, possibly three years old.

Is this one of the Tractor Supply type trailers? I have one of them. Been through a couple of hubs and bearings on mine. Started using the marine grade grease, that I use on my boat trailer. Seems to work better on the small utility trailer, as I haven't had to replace anything since making the switch. If the axle isn't scored, you might be able to replace the hub and bearings. Definitely check the other side. As that one probably is going bad too.

Love seeing these! And I'm always amazed at how intricate his work is! Good for him! I think, you've said it's like therapy for him? Anyway, they look awesome!!!

Awesome pic's wooly!

For now, just keep the stumps lower than the kill zone of a deer, plant the plot, and you will be fine. Stumps won't bother the deer one bit!
-
We have used our small dozer to pull the wheelers out of the muck. And the dozer will not only get the stumps out but almost prepare the plot for planting. Just run a disk over it, for most plots.
-
Yup. A couple hours with a small dozer will get it all done nicely.
