  1. Really nice looking jigs.
  2. My hunting partner and Il went on our farm property, late this afternoon. Our first set upl I called in a double, just using the flextone rabid rabbit. My buddy dropped his. I rolled mine, but we couldn't find it. 135 yards out. Had sporadic blood for 300 yards. Pretty sure it was a high grazing hit, my bad. Fun hunt though!
  3. I offered to take her to the Johnstown Outdoor show! She just gave me "the look"!
  4. With those high capacity magazines, apparently this guy didn't hear King Cuomo say "ya don't need more than five boolits to kill a dee'ah"!
  5. Beautiful work, it looks just like the one he grew. And that is one awesome buck!
  6. Too bad really. But the writing has been on the wall for some time now.
  7. Best of luck to ya's! Hope to see some pic's! Let the fur fly!
  8. I enjoy cleaning my guns, and take my time. During cleaning, I'll check screws, and scope mounts before final wipe down. I wonder if that miss, was due to having a loose screw?.........grin
  9. I am unashamedly a wooly fan! You never cease to amaze me with the stuff you do!
  10. Welcome! Happy to have you with us!
  11. Yes sir Larry, ya got some good music going tonight! Had to plug the headphones in to the tablet!
  12. I'm looking at the Ruger Precision Rifle. Detachable magazine and all the bells and whistles of an AR. And still pretty quick with follow up shots, if need be. My experience is that after the first shot, very seldom do you get a follow up. It's usually spray and pray, as they run off. I'm not a spray and pray kinda guy. I like to make that first one count!
  13. District office closed at noon! So now I'm home watching it snow! Will head out later to snowblow the driveway.
  14. When I was a kid, The Flying Fisherman, with Gadabout Gaddis was awsome! He would fly his Piper Cub into back areas to fish. Bill Dance is still fun to watch. Along with a couple of other old ones. I do watch the "tournament" shows too. They can be informative as well as entertaining.
  15. The school district I work for is closed for the students. Staff must report. So here I am! The halls are much quieter today!
  16. Dang, pretty cool to get a Big Buck in February! Looks like ya had a great birthday!
  17. I did some truckin in my early years. The CB was a mainstay of information and entertainment. "Breaker broker to you chicken chokers! Yeah, this be the Bone Doctor, south bound, and hammer down on the freebie 95 slab. Anyone got a bear report? We be up to it and down to it, gotta get home to jump to it. If ya Knooow what I Meeen..... C'mon..."
  18. For Senko fishing, get some 8lb florocarbon line. It sinks unlike mono. Makes a difference for sure.
  19. According to my wife, Blake is very hot. Hey, I'd hunt or fish with the guy, and go for a cheeseburger and a beer afterwards. Not sure what constitutes hot for guys. As I've never given the topic much thought. But if some of you younger guys do give it thought, it's ok!
  20. Say it aint so bro! Some crazy stuff running through the thoughts of some of you "GUY'S" in the off season!.........hehehe.
  21. For largemouth bass, try the drop shot, with a finesse worm or whacky Senco. Works great for smallies too. Also the quarter ounce, paddle tail swim baits will catch em just about anywhere too. Pop-R's on top water, still work well. A texas or carolina rigged, worm or craw imatation is always rigged and ready on my boat too.
