  1. Nice set! Great looking bobcat!
  2. It's the frosted, snow covered, regular green tree. I kinda like it!
  3. I had a Big Red back in the day too. Loved that freakin thing! Could ride Wheelie's forever on it too. But the dang thing would throw ya like a saddle bronc, if ya got squirrelly with it! And I did often enough. Fun times.
  4. Amen brother. It's the little things, that add up in life, that make the biggest impact on our happiness. A lot of that begins with good friends. I'm happy to hear Ana is doing a bit better! Our prayers are being answered.
  5. Happy Birthday Rob! Sorry we didn't get together for a deer hunt last season. Perhaps this year? And keep up the nice work on your YouTube channel and website. Both are pretty cool!
  6. I'm a bass boat guy now, but I've owned boats most of my life. Had a Lund that I really liked, and never gave me a bit trouble. Rode and drove so smooth, even in light to moderate chop. If I ever get rid of what I'm using now, it will be another Lund. But like many have already said, layout is the key. Regardless of brand. Find something that fits you, and your style of fishing. Don't compromise on that, you'll regret it, believe me. I've run Mercury's and Johnsons mostly, and I haven't ever had a bad one. And one Yamaha, that was just ok in my opinion. But you have to keep up with the maintenance, that's really important. Also do a thorough winterize every fall, to have no problems in the spring. Always buy a service manual for whatever motor you run. You'll save a lot of money over the years, if you are even a little mechanically inclined. Best of luck with whatever you get! See ya out on the water!
  7. Beautiful Buck Larry! I've never had a buck officially scored. And none as big as yours either.
  8. I love seeing this!!! As I loath the cheatriots!!!
  9. Handsome new family member!!! You two will have lots of fun together!
  10. Growing up we always had beagles. Great family pets and hunters. But.....they need to stay active, and their nose will often get them into trouble.
  11. Happy Birthday sir!!! John is the #1 guy, and owner of HuntingNY.com
  12. Can't begin to tell ya, how many times I've had to put down my smoke to kill a deer. But I highly advise not using that method for obvious reasons.
  13. We got 34 inches nine days ago here. So I feel your pain, all you guys getting hammered in the lake effect areas. If they made a Subie that could tow my bass boat I'd get one! And I'm no lesbian. But I play one in the movies......
  14. Always best to call a professional to come check out stuff like that Brian. And while they are there, they can do a thorough inspection and cleaning. We do this every other year.
  15. Happy Birthday my friend!!! Hope you, Sis, and Miss Timber are outside doing something fun! Have a great day sir!
  16. Yikes! Be careful out there man! There is not a fish swimming, that is worth risking your life for!!! I'm the complete opposite. And usually one of the last to venture out on the ice. Once I see sleds and wheelers out there, I figure it "may" be safe enough to hold my fat azz! And then still carry much of the safety equipment you mentioned. I may catch a few less fish by waiting so long to get out there. But I do catch some........year after year after year. Cause I'm still around to do so!
  17. I will look into that, thanks Dan. I find reading that old stuff fascinating. My father also had a complete set of hunting buttons, that I always admired. But his wife (not my mom) sold em all for peanuts.
  18. Have already seen some dummies out on a couple of our local lakes. Was open water just over a week ago! I love ice fishing. But not enough to die for it, or to put someone else at risk.
  19. I'm a Panthers fan, but I've always pulled for the Bills as the only REAL, NY team. I think the picture is pretty cool! Congrats on a nice buck Trent!
