  1. If you have a pic handy can you post it up? I'd love one for my Redhawk 44. You went with leather and not kydex I presume? Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  2. You just cost me some money seeing this. I have a drawer full of holsters but this style fills a different niche, now I need one... Or two... Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  3. My favorite currently on my phone, but I've got so many I don't think I could pick just 1. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  4. Got mine yesterday, starting to feel like hunting season! Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  5. That much is true, we could refuse any sale. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  6. That much is true, we could refuse any sale. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  7. It may have changed, I haven't sold guns in a few years now so I haven't kept up on the inside and outside of it. I never remember an exception on a 4473. I just know that even gifting guns to spouses we made sure the gift recipient both did the 4473 and physically paid for the firearm. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  8. It probably won't make a damn difference but it makes me feel better to not give money to corporations who don't value our rights and more specifically throw money at taking them away. Dicks won't ever get my money to use against me, I don't care how good the deal is... My 02. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  9. I know for the 8 years I sold firearms we could not sell a firearm to someone knowing that they were going to give it as a "gift" to another adult (18+). As soon as we got that information or a strong inclination that's what was happening we couldn't sell the firearm to them. We could'nt even have a husband and wife come in and one person pay for the gun and the other do the 4473. If it was a "gift" then we would sell them a gift card for the exact amount of the firearm and the recipient would have to come in and fill out the 4473 etc... I'm not exactly sure to be honest if it was a state law or a "rule" above and beyond law by the store owner. I thought I read somewhere that by law, if you buy a gun and gift it to someone over the legal buying age in NY, the recipient and buyer then had to go to an FFL dealer and have the firearm registered to the giftee, to prevent you from giving it to convicted felon. 10. If I gun hunted more than a couple of times a year I'd be all over it but I've got a safe full of rifles that hardly see the woods anymore. I still try to justify it Everytime i see this thread though... Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  11. Just an FYI that watersnakes are protected in NY I'm pretty sure, I wish you could shoot them as I see a ton while fishing in the kayak. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  12. Love some swamp toads! We do best at night with gigs, but shooting them with 22 pistols is pretty damn fun! Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  13. I usually wait until they sit on the peaks and plink them with a 22 shooting cci quiets, shotgunning them is alot of fun but the horses don't find it too amusing Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  14. Opinions are ok to have, but to judge someone in this scenario from the comfort of your cellphone or computer is negligent. Hind sight is always 20/20 and we can pick the guy apart on details all day, but none of us were in that situation. He did what he had to do and it worked out for the best. Look how many of us screw up while hunting in a extremely low stress level situation, you do what you think is right at the time and live with the results. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  15. That's a beauty bucket mouth! Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  16. Good to know! Do you batter them first? Or toss them in naked? Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  17. Anyone try putting raw fish fillets in an air fryer? Several people at work have air fryers and noone has tried raw fish in theirs and that'd be the real reason I would want one. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  18. Sweet rig! You're going to be amazed how fast/powerful that machine is, she'll stand right up for you. I insure my outlander through state farm, I pay $75 a year for full coverage. Post some pics when you get her! Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  19. Can am all the way, those 1000's are beasts, if you can't do it with one of those you can't do it with an ATV. They are pricey but they hold their value extremely well. I bought an outlander new a few years ago and haven't had any issues at all. My buddy works as a mechanic at a powersports shop, he owns CanAm's primarily. My other friend is a shop foreman for a utility company and they have 4 Canam 1000's for pulling power cable etc, two have tracks and they are all but unstoppable. Go CanAm and don't look back is my opinion! Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk

    Other Pan Fish

Panfish are the best eaters in my opinion, I'll take bluegills over walleyes. They have to be "keepers" for me to keep them which is usually about 9"+. I keep a few hundred big gills and sunnies every spring, they make great fish tacos. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  22. I have done it several times, it's fun and those little buggers are awesome to eat. Squab! Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  23. 'murica! Have a good one everybody. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  24. Im not positive, We haven't cooked any cod yet but the captain was all about finding the cod. The Pollack and haddock last night were great. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  25. The first mate showed us a video near Chatham where a great white tore a seal up in just a few feet of water near a beach, he said whites are seeming to frequent more often now Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
