I think it all depends on where the property is located and what's around it. The right 20 acres might be some awesome hunting, the wrong 20 and you might not see too much.

I had a single big body deer sneak through in some thick stuff about 10 minutes ago. Never got to see it's head though. I tried some grunting and a few bleats on hopes of a repeat appearance.

I hope this buck hangs out until this afternoon. Here he is this morning under an apple tree that is usually loaded with scrape's under it that is about 60 yards from the stand I will be in this afternoon. I wish he had been a bit more photogenic.

Worked at Xerox for 13 years right out of college in the trades. Worked with a lot of fun guys, made some decent money, did a ton of hunting. Then the fun guys started retiring or going to work at other places. So I started working on the family farm on my days off and decided it was for me. So that's what I'm doing now. Things are finally slowing down now for the first time since mid July so I'm hoping to finally get some hunting in!

Bucks are moving this morning at my place in 8F. Too bad I'm sitting out there to see it. My covert camera sent me pics of a mature buck and also a 2 1/2 years old this morning during legal hours.

I see lots of trucks parked on the sides of the roads or on farm lanes this morning. Wish I was one of them this morning, it's a nice one!

It's the same in all the pics of him so I'm assuming he's blind on that side. Maybe that could work to my advantage!

As I expected I finally had a good buck show up. Last weekend's card check had a scruffy racked 2.5 yr old buck show up. This weekend's check showed a mature buck the 18th and 22nd. I hope he hangs around for a while.

I once schooled a DEC officer on the legalities of your regular season buck tag during muzzleloader season. He was pissed, mostly because I did it in front of an audience I think. He told me to watch out because he would find me somewhere sometime doing something wrong. My reply was.... Good luck!

The only day of the year I sit all day is on opening day of gun season. A few years ago I killed a mature seven pointer chasing a doe at 12:00. He was the third buck in line behind her. There was a spike right on her butt, then a four pointer a few minutes later then a few minutes after that the seven point came along.

That's a whopper! I got a new one on my camera last night too but he didn't give me as good of a look as you got. I hope he hangs around for you.

My family eats at least 3 packs of his hot dogs a month. Plus we get slim sticks, breakfast sausage, keilbasa and other stuff, I love it all. I really wish he hadn't quit making the knockworst, they were my favorite. Back when I used to have a camp in the southerntier my buddies down there would send me home with their meat to drop off when I came home. They liked to pick it up though..... They would plan the pick up trip so they were coming by the klassy kat about lunch time!
