Making it next weekend when the GF is over. Def on my radar. Got some Jamaican jerk marinade and boneless chicken in the freezer, can of pineapple rings. Prob have on a ciabatta roll.

Sausage and peppers on a ciabatta roll. Local corn with butter and buffalo flavor shaker on it.

Also a reminder...... if you get fishing and hunting at the same time fishing is no longer good until sept 30 - it is year to date. I always get my hunting license in early Aug cause my fishing license expires then as well.

The odds are the same based on numbers from previous years through Oct 1. Then leftovers are available on a first come first served for designated areas Nov 1.

Have also seen my FIL drill it out then glue in a nut and then just screw that onto bolt. Have also heard of putting a dowel inside it but never tried that. The nut worked really well though and didn't worry about splitting antler.

All car dealerships are based on the hours that the manufacturer designates for the job. If Ford says it takes 2.5 hours to change a power steering pump they will charge that even if it took the guy that has done 200 of them 30 minutes. So usually you get boned right from the start. My guess is they started the job and left it to do something else and billed the wrong amount of time cause that's what the tech put. Then when you called them out on the labor they tried to come up with a lame excuse to cover the amount. Good move sticking to your guns. They never come in under quote it seems. Lol

I have this from bucks I have found that people shot during gun season and they didn't find but I did. Supposed to be a clothing rack but I put my extra arrows on it under my retired bow. In the hunt/fish room.

Very sorry to hear this and my best and condolences to you and your family. My dad passed away 30 years ago when I was 17 and I still think about him every day. But now it is with a smile on my face as I remember all the best times we had. Glad you got to spend a long life with him and able to spend time together. As time passes you for sure will always miss him, but will also remember first all the great times together.

i would say not, but dunno for sure . As there are also electric side by sides too so they wouldnt want to open up to that. And i know also electric motors are also not allowed on non - motorized lakes as well.

i drive by my hunting lease area 4 times a day and saw a nice buck in the back of the neighbors field . Good sign ! Looked like a nice buck. Hoping its the 7pt I passed last year or the 8 that busted me. Trail cams out so looking forward to checking them.

im not gonna say. Because now that i think about it, leaving a warm bed to go out into the woods in below zero cold doesnt make any of us look like the geniuses we obviously are. lol I guess if i HAD to hunt for food then i have an excuse but I am pretty sure that isnt the case and a legion fish fry or breakfast at the diner wont even get me out if its below zero either.
