Staying local. My 9 year old has a soccer tournament. Saturday is a surprise party for my nieces boyfriend who ships (Coast Guard) out to Bahrain for a year.

I'm in a fantasy football league (or what my wife calls, my football fantasy) that's been going on for over a decade.  Each year, friends who has since moved away would fly in for the live draft and we all catch up with one another.  We get piss drunk to the point where one of us would draft "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey as our kicker in the 12th round.  This year, due to scheduling, we decided to do it on Saturday, Sept 1st.  Sunday would be recovery day and when my wife will fill me in on what stupid s$%t I did the night before.  Monday...I'll probably go shoot some squirrels.

And getting mentally ready for the kids to go back to school for 2 days only to have 4 days off ....

Heading upstate tonight with my fiance. Cut some grass BBQ do some fishing and swimming and check cams.

Booked up by the wife - her birthday this weekend so she made plans for all day Saturday, and then Sunday afternoon through the evening for a concert at West Point. 

If not raining, hope to look for squirrels on Monday and do some scouting.  Somewhere need to squeeze in some gardening/yard work, finish stripping a dresser to refinish it, and cleaning up the garage too.

 

Gawd, I need a weekend to go camping and relax.

As a dairy farmer feeding and milking the cows twice a day. Sunday night hope to attend 40th class reunion. Monday the nearby town has Labor Day celebration Chicken BBQ, car show with DJ, Horsepull, and seeing a number of people I don't ordinarily see. Have a good holiday

You might want to recheck your dates. Hate to see you miss your annual draft because of a date screw up.

Yeah, 8/31st.  I just remember it as this Saturday.  I once slept right through New Years Eve.  Woke up on Jan 1st thinking it was Dec 31st.  That was back when I was working nights and pulling 80+ hours/week shifts.

Helping a friend of mine move out of town. Someone I've known since my teens. He's kind of an A-hole, half glad to see him go.

Then I'll go see my mom, she's getting up on the years & I want to make sure she has groceries & stuff.

Trip to the State Fair and canning.

Plowing, fitting ground for wheat and oat planting if it's to wet to cut, bale hay. Otherwise, I will fit in tree stand rehab and placement,as well as a wood stand in need of new location, complete tear down required. A new cardboard stand to be built along with a new step ladder stand, as we approach bow season, 4 short weeks away.

Worked all fri night, rest today, gym and party Sunday, visiting 2 different relatives on Candaigua Lake Monday.
