Facemask or facepaint?

Which do you use? If you dont use either then this wont apply cant decide for the morning if i paint the face or just throw on my facemask....

I went back to face paint a couple years ago. The masks bug me. they slip down too close to my eyes, get smelly and I lose them.

I know its the rule. But a better paying job kinda over ruled that. I didnt shave with a razor...just trimmed it with my head trimmers lol. But it is what it is!

I use both. Warm days, paint. Cold days face mask.

Mask for me. I have a self modified one from Cabelas that works great. Only down side is it leaves marks on my face for a few hours so I kind of look like a stud race car driver after they take off their helmet. I can live with that.......

Face paint! I cant stand a mask pushing down on my nose and breathing into it and it gets all wet. Or if its cold and I have to wipe my nose. Always fiddling around with it. I love face paint. Just Paint from the top of the eyes to the beard. Hat covers the rest. Maybe even throw a little in the beard Lol.

I like face paint but feel like it is clogging my pores eve thought I wash my face a couple times to get it off so I tend to lean towards a face mask. (Saying this in the most masculine way possible)

I use a turtle neck, which I can pull up to just below my nose and pull my hat down to my eyes,  Nice little opening without losing anything.  And when need be I just pop my head up and out like a real turtle.  Works out pretty good.

always been a facemask guy. I guess it started during gun when I realized just a hat didn't keep my face from freezing off. Now I use a lightweigh scentlok facemask. Most of your odor is released from your head. Silly to scentlok everything and not your head.

If you aren't a fan of masks (I'm not for reasons already stated) you don't have to buy anything.  All you really need is something to take the shine off and break up  the lines of your face.  Burnt cork, charcoal, just plain dirt. Pretty much anything that "dulls" the face and breaks up the outline and you're good to go.

Both  War paint is fun but I always have a bandana and gator and use them more in the cold weather.

Face paint during bow and a mask during gun. I use a kisser with my bow and it doesnt work very well for me if i use a mask.

face mask.  Even though it pushes my nose down after a while, I'd rather that, than having to wash that crap off my face....especially if I go hunting before work.

Loworange, baby wipes work very well for the removal of the face paint. Its not hard to remove at all.

Mask. Although it does get the coffee, bacon, pickled egg, mustard, tuna, garlic breath smell a bit.

Mask though I hate them...always end up with a blister because they get wet...I'm allergic to near every thing  as far as skin contact..my own tears causes a rash...so I'm afraid to try the paints

I like my facemask.  Been using one for over 10 years now.  It will definately keep you warmer and in the stand longer when its cold and blowing.  I have one made by Field & Stream that I got from Dick's.  It has a tight fit and is reversable.  Black on one side for the ground blind and camo for the tree stand.  A face mask does take some getting used to.  If it gets hot I just drop the bottom half of the face hole below my nose.
