Me too!  Would love to hear how this giant was taken. Congrats to your friend and thanks for sharing.  Getting a buck in the late season is hard enough, but a deer of this caliber is someting else.

No drive...the deer came walking out at 3:00 friday afternoon. He missed him the first shot...reloaded...followed his tracks to a gulley...krept over and the buck was standing at the bottom looking around!!! The second shot ended the 2 year chase!!!

Now that's a good story! Getting a second shot on a monster like that in ML....many would have stayed put or been so deflated by the miss gone home....lol
