Deerthug
Tomorrow's menu will be 15 venison back strap medallions that will be sitting for 2 days with a rub of Wild Game Blend spice provided by my good friend and owner of Spice Specialists in Hicksville NY, and a few table spoons of lite sodium soy sauce. As a side dish, we will have roasted Russet potatoes and a really small salad of mixed greens. I don't even use Velveeta for my mac & cheese. I did up mushrooms, potatoes, onion, German sauerkraut, and spicy kielbasa.

wolc123
My wife cooked a squirrel and a couple moose steaks in her new programmable crockpot, along with potatoes, onions and cream of mushroom soup. The combination was pretty good, and better the rabbit/squirrel mix we have often had. I always like the squirrel better in that mix but the moose was about equal. Our youngest daughter liked it so much that there is not a whole lot left for my lunch at work tomorrow.
