You have to go to a deli and get a chunk to slice, or have them slice it at least 1/2" thick, you need some char on fried bologna! Been awhile since I've used the charcoal/smoker side of grill. I know it's a trend for plated pictures. Propane on one side and wood/charcoal grill on the other side.Chargriller Duo is where it's at. I had to remove the top rack on that side. Usually smoking bigger or taller things like beer can chicken or roasts. My wife loves the ease of propane, but i love my charcoal/wood grilling. Best of both worlds all in one unit and everyone's Happy,happy...also is great to have both grills going at same time when i do alot of entertaining in the summer.
