Scrape cam pics...

Set a camera up on an active scrape (there are like 15 scrapes in a 200 yd stretch) and got some good pics of a few nice bucks using it...

Honestly, I think that the scrapes have been abandoned already. Set a new cam up today and none of the scrapes seem to have been freshened in the past few days.

Ok, dumb question but I guess I won't know unless I ask:

 

I know most if not all scrapes have licking branches above them. Explain why bucks lick the branches.

They don't necessarily lick the branch.  They are rubbing their preorbital, nasal, and forehead glands on the branch to leave as much scent on it as possible.  During this process there mouth is often open and saliva will get on the branch as well.
