We are in the low teens in Northport. LIRR shut down so I aint budging, dog will be lucky to take a piss today! lol

About a half dozen times overnight every two hours the next schmuck drops their plow blade to make sure that fresh 1/2" is cleared off some parking lot near by.

6ish inches since yesterday here.  The cold is pretty bitter though, which really kills it for me.

Snowing those big flakes now we have around 3' of new snow...I'll do some stretching and head out as soon as I see it let up a bit to shovel...then take the Gator for a stroll....no wind...I just love no wind...wish it was like that during hunting...

lol.......... that is 3 inches not feet.......Geez we'd have to have the guys back to shovel off the buildings roofs again  if that were the case.

Looks to be about 16-20 inches depending on where you check.  Wind is blowing it around pretty good causing some deep pockets.  

 

Shoveling is like doing a marathon.  Make sure you take brakes!!!  Be safe everyone!

Got a little more than two feet... real light snow thiugh. Makes for easy shoveling.

Finished round one of shoveling. Light snow, not bad to shovel. I had a Hollywood moment. Slipped and fell flat on my back, just like you would see in a movie. A layer of ice below the snow, where my gutter leaked. Didn't hurt as much as one would think. Wasn't fun though.

My lab is loving this snow. Round two of shoveling in a while.

25" here. I even took the snowblower in the backyard to cut trails around the property so my dog could get around. After a brief lull, it is starting to come down again.

Just finished snow blowing myself out, my neighbors and my father down the road from me. If you stack all the snow together I snowblowed more than 4 feet of snow combined. I'm done and spent!

Here on the easter tip of Long Island we got plenty of snow...approximately 29 inches and drifts over 3 feet and it's still snowing as of 3 PM!

Great day, only had to shovel 2 inches of snow, corporate panicked & closed the office down last night, so I got a good-old-fashioned snow day. Life is good!

In my new house about 21/2 months. I have nice neighbors, the guy next door a

has two snow blowers. He gave me the code to the garage so I can get in to use them. Got out there at 10 this morning and had both driveways done in 1/2 hour. He came out and did the cars and walkways. It's a big machine that ate through the snow. I think this deal will work out fine, who said Long Islanders weren't friendly……lol
