Skillet
I don't think they see green, Fletch. Don't sweat it.
Skillet
Pretty windy in Naples this morning. Out of the West. That, with the damp leaves, made for a silent walk in. Sitting in the spot where my Grandfather killed his last deer, 20 years ago.

Fletch
I don't think they see green, Fletch. Don't sweat it.Even a flashing light in the dark? That would be cool. I could see it like a beacon!
Skillet
Even a flashing light in the dark? That would be cool. I could see it like a beacon! Supposedly not. I've got a small green flashlight, I sometimes use to go in. One of the selling points was that it was "invisible" to deer. Who knows how they figured that one out. Skillet
My butt hurts. My heat seat feels about as soft as a doily on a pile of broken cinder blocks.
Fletch
I'm still going with they can see a flashing light. They just see it differently. I use a green colored light flashlight as well. Believing green is a color not as well registered by a deer but not invisible. Who knows for sure. Edited December 4, 2015 by Fletch
Skillet
Agreed. All that matters is that they can see white light. The one at the end of the long tunnel!

Had ravens on one and crows on another day after I shot my deer. Made for a lot of noise. Next day both were gone completely , yote's dragging off what was left I'm sure. Or did you see dead coyote ?
