What time do you usually end your morning hunt

For me i would say I usually head back in between 10:45 and 11:30, it depends on what I have going on that day and how cold I am. So what time do you guys go in, and what factors will bring you out of the stand early and what will make you stay late?

I usually sit till 1030 unless the rut is on..I've seen too many bucks mid day.

I drive an hour to location. I'll sit all day dark to dark unless I pull the trigger on a deer. Then I still may field dress it and hunt the rest of the day depending on temps.

I'm usually done by 10:00...but will usually do a few all day sits a few times a year. The #1 thing that brings me down is lack of deer, put me in deer all day and I have no problem sitting

9:30/10ish until rut. All depends on activity and daily plans as well.

minimum 10am, maybe another hour if there has been activity. last week of Oct and first 2 weeks of Nov its whatever i can get. Sometimes I have to skip the early am , so I will  do 11am til dark .

It depends on where I am hunting if the property has a fair amount of pressure I hunt till 1 -1:30 take a 1/2 hour lunch break (or bring it with me & continue to hunt ) I have seen a lot of deer mid day I think they know when most hunters go to lunch or leave their morning hunt

Whenever I want. Depends on how much confidence I have and what else I may have to get done during the day. Never sit all day.

I sit in the first stand until about 10am, then I get down and stalk for a couple of hours until I arrive at my second stand.  Then I climb up and hunt until dark.

I hear ya on that. Most of my stands seem to be better for the afternoon so in the morning I have a hard time sitting. By 8-830 I'm ready for breakfast. I try to sit until 10 if I can make it. The afternoon, I have no problem getting in at 1 and sitting until dark though. It's just mental for me but I feel like in the morning, the hunting is getting worse by the hour, but the afternoon I feel like it's only getting better as the time passes!

 

For the rut I sit dark to dark tho

Sit all day but I'm starting to notice I get figidty around 4pm. Wrong time to get figidty. May just come out at noon and get back into stand at 1. Stay till dark.

The time I leave changes daily. I'm good for 3 or 4 hours for sure.

 

But on the same note I shot my best buck after telling myself to stop getting itchy @ss and wanting to move. So it varies.

Yessir, so rarely see deer after the sun is high that I feel like I can get on 90% action first hr or so, november I generally stay out quite a bit later, but for now I hate missing breakfast lol

Early bow out by 11am back by 3pm. Rut all day with bow, first two days firearms all day. But really it depends on weather work and deer activity.

out by 10 early season, until last week of october, than its in stand till at least 1, if not all day

Usually out of woods by 830am, I don't like to stay out and have my scent blow around all day, I prefer quick in and out hunts, if you know your deer and your property, it doesn't take long to get one. Getting cold, hungry, fidgety trying to stay on. Stand just isn't worth it

alerting deer or missing them cause your not focused. Latest I've stayed was 930.

But I have gone back out at 10 to 1 or 10 to 12 or so if the movement and scouting tells me it's worth it.

I do the same for gun season opening day I'm in by 8 or 830, depending how long of a walk I have from stand back to the house.

I push for 12:00, sometimes all day or early afternoon(late Oct through November).  A few years back I saw around a dozen bucks(in a 2 week period) I think only 1 was before 9:30. Since that year,   I have been a real believer in sitting till lunch time or later.
