turkeyfeathers
Shooting 100 grains of 777 here in my Winchester Apex magnum. I know some folk are more keen on loose powder but I've had no problems. Was shooting 150 grains but found no difference of accuracy down grading to 100 grains. Don't think I'm getting full burn on 150 anyhow ML going with opening day of gun season. ML just stuffed and ready to go

LET EM GROW
I now shoot 150 gr of 777 pellets, i used to shoot 100 gr of 777 pellets out of both my t/c ML.. but besides a little more kick and some distance gains, accuracy was the just the same as 100 gr. trying to remember but i think there was only 5 inches difference in drop between the 2 @ 150 yards My triumph by t/c i have setup with nikon bdc reticle...150 gr 777.. i can put (3) 250 gr shockwaves within a 4 inch circle @ 225 yards .. i was impressed
Pygmy
I burn 80 grains by volume of loose 777 3F behind a 50 cal. 460 grain conical.... I tried 2f first, but since use #11 percussion caps my ignition seemed a bit slow... Works great in my old TC Hawken... 2 inches high at 50 and dead on at 100.. it's a devastating bullet on deer and also worked well on a 6x6 bull elk.. Pygmy
Yeah, that's what the elk thought just before he died... It's made by an outfit called Noexcuses in Utah...Very accurate, load easy and shoot surprisingly flat for such a heavy bullet..

Love to see it. Takes the whole heavy is better argument to the extreme.

Fletch
TC Triumph pushing 150g 777 to a 250g Shock Wave. This gun shoots so smooth and accurate. I have it topped with a Nikon and is one of my favorites.
BKhunter
Shooting 100 grains out of the TC triumph.......Going to switch to BH209 after the season as it came highly recommended by some members on this forum, but don't want to play with the setup now as I am all dialed in before the season. SuperMag
are you sure all that powder being burned ? Yes, it is designed to shoot 200 grains and it burns it very efficiently. I went to sight it in with 150 grains of pyrodex but wasn't getting the groups i expected so i increased to 200 grains and now get very tight groups.
