I am so glad I gave up drinking. If I was still boozing today, other than likely being in jail, I would be so confused on what I was drinking and probably dead broke. Peanut butter? It's a long road from the Olympia, Milwaukee's Best and PBR that got me through college.

I think I would be very confused by that cocktail...bottle says gin, color says bourbon! How is it! I used to love dirty martinis but olives would be flat out bizarre in that colored booze

The gin was aged in oak casks. That's how it got the color. Its just gin in the glass.

Jdubs kept making me rethink not getting this stout so I made some calls and barely had a 4 pack reserved for me. Nightmare Scaphism is a serious stout. Roasted favor with cacao but not strong on coffee. Dangerous and real good. Wife kickin with a good buzz from hers. Haha35abf0240bd7f0c236fc31fb60e1a40d.jpg

Next up Nightmare Brewing's quadruple dry hopped imperial ipa. Wife doesnt even like ipa's and she says it's the best beer she's ever had. Haha I'm dieing. Idk if she drunk or serious ...or likely both. I think its very tropical on aroma that hits you even from the pour. Nice new England ipa but with a very nice and crisp hoppiness from dry hop. finish has a subtle sharp bite but real manageable bitterness even if not an ipa fan. Very easy drinking.

now the real problem is not blowing through them and willing myself to drink other beer in the fridge. which the selection is cigar city cubano espresso ale, juice bomb, sam anytime ipa, and brown's hashtag series ipa. some others but it's not coming to me. i guess you could say i try to stay stocked.

Interesting that you're not into the coffee profiles, but picked up some Cubano espresso.  Agree on the Nightmare beers.  They're what I call my "weekend beers". :drinks:
