NYC Mayor DeBlasio made such a big deal about this snow storm. He should consider himself lucky that he isn't the mayor of Buffalo. They measure snowstorms in feet , not inches.

We get that kind of snow a couple times a month and ya sweep off the truck and move on. Down there life stops.

Funny how a couple hours one way or the other can have such different results.

We got about 27 1/2" of snow here in Queens last night with some wind drifts up to 5 feet. I think dealing with snow in the city is a little different than dealing with it in the country Fourseason.

Already ahead of you. It really wasn't that bad. Driving in the 50 mile an hour wind while it was snowing would have probably been pretty dangerous.

He was pretty screwed last year when sanitation went on "strike" during the snow. I'm guessing he didn't want a repeat.
