I agree, the coyote at 30 yards is my new favorite to shoot at.

Yote is probably cheaper too and makes a deer look like a big target.  lol

My first shot was one of the orange fletched ones,all at 40 yds. Wish they were all like the first two

I'm really not feeling it this season, but I still have to make sure things are dialed in. I shot this video about a week and half ago shooting in my house at about 18 yards.

It's not a first shot daily, but, no one really follows that anyway.

Brother came up today and finally setup the targets in almost like a course.  7 total setups with ranges going out to 35 at most since non of the 5 that shoot on sundays go past that while hunting.  Arm got tired towards the end that youll see in pictures. But in order

Turkey-18yrds,pig 23,bag down hill 21,deer streestand 30yrds,deer out of chair 20,deer 1/4away 15yards.  Will add one more tomorrow that will stretch from 10-35 yards.

First shot at 20.First group at 30.First group at 40.Pretty soon this Obsession Phoenix will be shooting almost as good as when Moog had it!!  Since tweaking a few adjustments last week, this bow just keeps getting better. Smooth, quiet, super solid back wall, and an absolute joy to shoot! Shoulders are acting up a bit now, so hoping to tighten the groups a little more in the next month. But have come a long way since the first time I shot this bow. That was embarrassing, ask moog.....

Decided on these arrows with the 350 spine for my hunting arrows. Next up will be putting on the Glory lighted nocks. Then the broadhead. Will practice with that until season starts.

 It's all is falling into place. With the end result hopefully another bow deer. That's going to be cool, considering I almost had to give up bow hunting.

Nah,no probs.rinsed the crud off.only problem i had was pulling the arrows out as the bee's found it quick.cantaloupe didnt last long after that!

make sure to flex those arrows before the next shot. you never know.

First shot ar 20 yds... it is shooting a tad bit high at 20 ... I do not know what changed... second shot at 30 yds was not too shabby!    Top pic is 30, bottom is 20

First pic is first group at 20 yrds, second pic is first group at 30 yrds, third pic is first arrow this year at 40 yrds ( I was pumped had to take a picture) and the last pic is first group at 40. Not to bad for me only being able to shoot basically one or twice a week.

Very trueand always a fear of mine.found a soft spot in the target the other day too and one hit tree.almost time for a new target id say!or a different backing.good reminder though!

Sept first starts my one shot a day only, with broadheads. Sighted 6.5 Grendel at is sighted in. Confirmed today with 3 70 yard shots.

Shooting decent now.  Not perfect but that’s like a perfect golf swing - only shows up occasionally.    Just try not screw up too bad.
