moog5050
Been a little bummed since the limb went but I bought a back up bow it's coming along nicely. Confidence back. One shot at 23yds tonight. Followed that with a bunch more in the black and it all felt easy. Confidence is so critical to shooting well! oh and new limbs are supposed to ship this week. Things on the archery front looking real good. This bow is shooting a 680g arrow at a whopping 165fps. It will do the job.

Im still going to hunt with the Victorys this year My father in law shot the victory velocity arrows and they were fast but super brittle. He smack a couple arrows together shooting and like you said it collapsed the whole side. But as a trade off they were fast. He also has them break when shooting deer, hit a rib on exit and the insert end was all splintered. Nice arrow but were brittle.

turkeyfeathers
General Custer and his men would have lasted a lot shorter if the Indians had compound bows and could shoot like you guys. I put the same arrow through 4 deer before it hit an opposite shoulder and broke off on a tree. $40 a dozen for spine aligned slight helical with blazer arrows is unreal. I highly recommend them to everyone i know.
BowmanMike
Pics are upside down, sorry. First three shots at 27 ish, from top to bottom. Second pic are shots at right middle from 33,and top middle from 42. Pretty happy with it. Not perfect but close...

I had that happen with aluminum arrows the other day. What a pain to get the good arrow out. If you are going to Robin Hood, stick with carbon. Easy removal. grampy
Haven't bothered to take my phone out for pic's lately. But have been shooting pretty good! Mostly between 30 and 45 yards. First shot always at 30, my max hunting range. Most shots are within Larry's pie plate!.....lol One more week, then switch to broadhead. I've worked so hard to get to this point since my May 4th shoulder surgery. And some other issues since then. I had serious doubts about bowhunting this year. But it looks like I will be able to participate. You never realize how much you would miss it, until you almost lose it.

Even sharpen the blades and use it again before using another arrow. chas0218
Been working on our house remodel a lot trying to get heat in the house before the temps get too low. Anyway I got out and shot a little. I figured out why my groups have been so far off. When I installed my sight I missed the bottom bolt and only tightened the one. I thought there was something wrong with me. I was able to get the 20, 30, 40, and 50 yard pin sighted in now just to practice a little more. My 40 yard group was tightened back up to within 1" restoring my confidence a little more. I'll post a pic tonight after shooting, very happy with my new sight and groups. Dodged a bullet on that one, I was almost considering skipping bow season until I could get my crap together.
