BizCT
Hunting muffs, that is. I have great gloves for the cold weather, but now that I got the compound I want to get a muff to have around my waist so that I can keep heads warm while wearing lighter gloves in order to pull hands out and draw/shoot quick. Any suggestions on a good one?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Fletch
Not the Under Armour one. I bought one in a pinch and it fell apart quick. They did send me a replacement no charge but I don't use it. Trying new one this year. I had one from the outdoor show that was pretty decent before that. Not a brand name it was basically home made. jpastor1759
Check out the one by rivers west on amazon. It's water, proof wind proof and has spots for handwarmers too. They also make rain gear that is second to noneSent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Adkhunter1590
Anything cabelas wooltimate is awesome. I've got the whole setup now with pants and hooded pull over and even a matching wool beanie. Love the outfitter camo pattern too, blends great and is warm as hell. A little on the heavy side but for treestand hunting it can't be beat.

Just reading the title I knew this was going south in less than a page....lol There are 3 materials I want in my muff. neoprene, neoprene and neoprene. They line them and are 100% waterproof. I have never had cold hands or wet hands in mine. They don't make th eone I have anymore but this is about as similar as I could find for my nephew. mine only has one velcro pocket up front. I like the security of a zipper. Really nice for a phone in there becasue in cold weather the battery doesn't get effected by the cold. https://www.dickssportinggoods.com/p/mossy-oak-deluxe-neoprene-handwarmer-16moaumdlxnprnhndhwf/16moaumdlxnprnhndhwf?camp=CSE:DSG_pg41905_ecom_PLA_452&gclid=CjwKCAjw9O3NBRB3EiwAK6wPT7V6s4FUclM9uz_TlehvH-ej1WNclCbrf70SeZVCVNevRYeTh5QAZBoCVRAQAvD_BwE
chas0218
I too would love a nice muff around my waist while hunting to keep me warm but I think that would involve a little too much movement when deer are coming in.

chas0218
I was referring to the hand warmer style without a heartbeat. I still think that much movement would be too much with deer coming in. I wouldn't think you would need it for bow season being that it is warmer out still. I'm thinking ahead. Also, I'm a ninja. Even on the ground, once a deer takes his eyes off me for 1 second, I will draw & shoot.

I use my pockets in my jack to keep my hands warm with hot hands. It also helps keep my sides warm. Just curious.
