Rebel Darling
Down in my family's condo in Florida for a bit. I did some fishing yesterday and caught 2 of these guys. Hooked 2 nice speckled trout, but I made some rookie mistakes and lost them at shore. Today is another day to chase these trout. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Is that a throw back for you? Curious to know if folks eat rays...I'm all thumbs when using Tapatalk

Depending on the species of ray, they can taste like scallops or steak!

I hear they're good to eat, but it looks like a beotch to clean. Plenty of other good fish to catch down here so why bother Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

ATbuckhunter
All you need is a knife and two pair of pliers. They are SO worth it. Maybe next time then. Something makes me feel bad for them though. The one great thing about them, is they fight very hard and take some really nice runsSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Zuke
If I could still hunt in my area I’d have to plow, snow blow, or tunnel my way to the stand today!
crappyice
I’m back in 3s. A balmy 21 with a stiffer breeze than I’d like ( especially since I forgot my hat!!!). Hope it’s a quick one tonight- maybe I’ll tape my hot hands to my temple under my camp mask!!!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
crappyice
Saw two doe tonight. Came in from the pines behind me. Stayed away and walked right past the tree I sat in a few days ago. NonTypical
Late report. I hunted Monday evening. I saw a couple of does at last light. I heard several barks and spotted a beautiful red fox about 50 yds away. I squeaked him in and he came right to the base of my tree. I thought it was pretty cool as I've never heard a fox bark before. I'll try to get out again this weekend. Hopefully my target buck is still holding. We'll see.

crappyice
Nobody hunting yotes or deer or bobcat or fox today?Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkKicking around the notion of an evening hunt again. Can’t get myself psyched up for an am sit with the wind and temps. Still not sure I love the wind for this afternoon. My largest obstacle with this program has been the mandatory use of a climber(no walking around and elevated into the wind!).Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

uberyan
Thinking I might try out some of those one hunter only at a time spots on Saturday. Maybe the insane cold will keep them free. Or maybe they'll be free because there are no deer there.

Pretty windy. after tomorrow morning I guess I'm done for the year. Last year I tried Tompkins County doe management but didn't find a good spot until I had to leave.
crappyice
I’m back at Muscoot(3s) in an area I saw two doe driving to my spot last night. Wind direction is favorable but quite stiff- not so optimistic about movement for this even Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
