Bigger Boys Starting to Prowl

Had a lot of cam activity the last couple of nights. Looks like the big boys are on their feet and starting to prowl! Still at night, but encouraging to see them show up again!

Ahh Love it when this starts to happen.  More than likely you have some doe starting to smell real good to them!  Buddy is in a tree now and says deer are everywhere!  That time of the year again.  If you can get out the next month anytime do it!  Wish I was not sick again or I would be out this weekend to, might still give it a shot as the weather is so mild.  Have to give up smoking!  For good this time!!!

lol my deer must be slow lol. The little ones are not even started yet. No scrapes or rubs yet. I'll get excited in 7-10 more days. I still see a bigun on cam here and there but pretty much all nocturnal in the last 3 weeks.

 

I'll still be out but not going to overhunt it until I see some signs.

No but I don't go wandering around and hog up my areas looking either lol these are relatively small local areas I know well. Slip in slip out

I posted all our land last week and did not find any rubs either .

I only know of 3 rubs on my entire property. One was made in early September, but the other 2 didn't appear until 1 week ago.

Nice good luck with them..I'm really hoping to see them coming in in force ...great day to blow of trails and check cams...The worst,ash leaves are all down and a good many maple as well I'll do main travel areas first.

This past weekend I saw and heard more deer than any other sit.

I saw four dead bucks on 90W yesterday from exit 45-47. All yearlings but things seem to be heating up
