Uncle Nicky
Saturday made the annual trip to Montauk. This place NEVER disappoints! Had the boat limit of stripers and a handful of blues by 8:30 AM, so we bottom fished for jumbo porgies and sea bass the rest of the day. A nice steady pick of quality fish! Ceviche on tonight's dinner menu. It has been a tough summer as far as charter fishing goes, I had quite a few trips either cancelled or rescheduled until next year due to either weather or boat malfunctions. I was watching the marine forecast all week, 7-10 foot waves forecast for Long Island, but finally laid down some Saturday, and we braved the ride through NYC to get there. I have a reschedule planned for this weekend coming up to fish for walleyes in Erie, PA, fingers & toes crossed!!
TreeGuy
Meat run with the family Saturday. Nice quick trip on flat glass. Out in the depths of ladyO there was plenty of willing steelbows and even some immature chrome kings. Perfect for the new smoker. Blast as usual watching the kids crank in the fish.
