YFKI1983
We have about a foot of snow and a few people I spoke to are saying the deer won't be moving tomorrow with so much snow on the ground. Does that make any sense? What if it doesn't melt? they can't bed down forever Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
ApexerER
We got dumped on Thanksgiving morning a few seasons ago. I dont remember the year. Maybe 2015. I didn't want to trudge all the way to my normal spot there was so much snow. I saw a group of 4 doe in the couple hours I sat that morning and my buddy shot the biggest 6pt I have ever seen. I am no expert but I think tomorrow will be good. They probably bedded today for the storm. Tomorrow they have to eat and there is a hot doe the bucks will be after her. At least that my opinion. OldNewbie
They were out and about today in 8W from about noon onwards... after the snow stopped and things settled down.
Swamp_bucks
I saw a 6 pushing a doe while i was putting up my dads blind. And there is 8 inches there. And there are tracks everywhere.

Jeremy K
They have to move, they're not gonna lay around for a whole day straight .
grampy
Tracks all over this afternoon. Saw a decent 8 just off the road, behind a doe around 2pm.
JRod 8G8H
Had a buck chasing does in the swamp behind my office building today around noon. Like someone else said a hot doe will move them and if they don't move in the morning I will plan on getting back in the woods around noon... UpStateRedNeck
From what I saw in 4H they were out browsing on saplings buds all afternoon. When the wind came up they went downhill out of the wind. I'd expect them to be on a south slope out of the wind tomorrow morning, and then up and running in the afternoon when the wind settles. This snow isn't deep enough, they will still move, imo FT

fasteddie
Hopefully there will be some hunters out in the Geneseo area to get the deer moving . They need to be pushed a little .
philoshop
Best of luck to everyone today! Other than a miserable rainy downpour, I've never seen deer too upset by any weather. They will hunker down a bit if the wind gets nasty, however.
moog5050
More hunters in the woods than any other day. That alone pushes deer. Plus, even if the deer didn’t like snow we would all still be out there so why sweat it.
