Hyenes jaw pressure is rivaled by none in the mammal kingdom  and x that by 50 the lions stand no chance in hell. What the hell is one baboon and a merekat gonna do. Its a no brainer.

hmm, probably answering too seriously, but...

According to the African readings I have done, the hyena is one cowardly beast. Me thinking the lions toss the others into the center, just for fun and distraction then enfilade the flanks....the hyenas instantly break in terror, lose a few compadres and never look back at the lions as they depart for parts unknown.
