Anyone see any poults yet?

just had a couple hens and about a dozen poults in the front lawn this morning.

I haven't seen mine for a week now, but I stopped throwing out birdseed.  The Old Boss Hen had rounded up at least 4 more hens and added them and their babies to her retinue.  Poults were getting real big, but you could see a serious size discrepancy in some.  It was fun to watch the hens kind of herd the little buggers too.

Stopped throwing out seed because they seemed way less focused on it, squirrels were getting most of it.

It’s interesting how long it takes for turkey poults to mature. Waterfowl look like adults in two weeks

I saw several groups with poults this weekend on the Santa Clara Tract up near St Regis Falls. It seems every group is two mature hens and a handful of poults, is that the normal routine

Went up Rt 8, north of Utica  last week on our way to catch the ferry in Essex New York over to Vermont. Lot of hens standing in the road but, not a poult with any.   Lot of hunting camps on that highway. Great country!

Had about 30 in my yard this morning.  Few hens with their poults are flocked together.  Poults looked like a good size. Didn't see em for long as my dogs seen em too.

Ya, there's 3-4 hens.  First time I seen them in my yard in a while, but I see em across the street in the field all the time.  Also have a band of 7 Jake's in the area.

Saw about 6 or 7 poults on friday when I was scouting

3 hens and about 2 dozen little ones showed up

This group passed through. There’s a lone hen on my property that normally chases other turkey away. She might be getting hit with an arrow in October.

Havent seen any poults around our property yet. But a neighbor has seen 1 group. Kinda crappy. Ive got a group of 6 hens that wander.. zero poults from any of them. 3 years in a row now.  I think i need to get heavy on the predator hunting this year.

8P my neighbor just sent pictures of two hens and about 13 poults. All the size of chickens.

I saw a small group on the property today...They were just going into the woods so I am not sure of a count, but there appeared to be about 8-10 birds, about half of which were poults about half the size of the adult hens..

Havent seen a poult all year.. Then just the other night on my way home.. there were 2 seperate groups with about 15 poults in each.. good sized birds too... 1 group in Canadice and the other in Dansville by stony brook.
