The more i look at the two pictures the more i wonder if same bear?!?! Red Posted August 5, 2019 Share Posted August 5, 2019 There are definitely some very big bears out there. That one for sure looks to be a huge bear. I took a big one in Livingston County in 2010 had to quarter it out. The taxidermist estimated it at a little over 500 lb. Good luck. Hunting southern tier I have had opportunity but I figure I will shoot and have one mounted in my life so I'm holding out for a big bear. We have a sow that regularly raises triplets and last year she had quads. I had the opportunity 2 years ago to shoot her as she was alone and had kicked of her cubs. I gave her a pass.
