What are your opinions on this deers age?

four or five maybe older antlers look like he is old deer.Looks like he has'nt had a very good diet.You may want to grind him up if you kill him probably going to be tough.

Either a really nice 2.5 or decent 3.5, good rack but not much body

I'm going to say 3. A little too much body for 2, but not enough antler mass for older than 3. For whatever reason he seems hard to judge in that pose even if he is broadside. If he really is 3 or less then he will be a Christer in another year. Nice photo.

i think 3 1/2 maybe a great 2 1/2 but with the bad winter last year and body size i'll say 3 1/2.

man he looks like a great 2 1/2 with very very good genetics... Otherwise id pick him out as a 3 maybe 3 1/2 yearold

Id say 3 1/2, but may just be a 2 1/2. Tough to tell with the way hes arching like that, kinda makes the belly and back line look saggier.

At least 2.5 and I would say no older than 3.5. One more year and he is a monster!

I would agree with most the others. A real good 2.5 or a solid 3.5. Not a great pic to judge but no characteristics of an older buck.

Thanks all. My guess was 3.5. Body is consistant of other 3.5's from the area. If I can keep myself from releasing an arrow on him, he'll be a stud next year.

to say the least Pete... he would be a hard one to lay off, if you did and had a chance to connect with him next season he would really be a remarkable buck. Goodluck bud!
