Chef
So I got access to a new piece of land this year. Set up a few cams and it seems I’ve found a honey hole. Is it possible to tell what a buck will be from their early season nubs? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
johnplav
They all look edible to me! Nice find.

But I only talk about deer in their hunting season, so In this instance he’s 2.5 on 10/1 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro 1
E J
Here is one I got last week. I have a feeling he's going to be a whopper with this much early growth. I hope he doesn't stray to far away.
mlammerhirt
I had one in the field yesterday that had growth out to the tips of his ears with a beginning belly sag. That guy definitely peeked my interest. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk

dbHunterNY
Each buck around here seems to start growing at different times. Early on it's hard to compare them to one another until you get into july. You can tell how much mass itll have once it gets out past the bases a bit but they look real thick compared to hard antler. Hard to tell body characteristics and age a deer during off season. Can tell if it's a really young deer vs somethin maybe older though.Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
