Marion
On X is great but HuntStand has the scent cone feature that I love Can always just use the free huntstand and the paid onx that's what I'm gonna do.#ThankYouForLessOverzealousModding #WeDemandUnlimitedLikes#WeDemandADislikeButton

The hills here wreck havoc with wind directions

My favorite gun stand has a bad wind direction right now. Guess I won't hunt this afternoon.
dbHunterNY
3 hours ago, sodfather said: On X is great but HuntStand has the scent cone feature that I love out here the scent cone thing didn't work for shit. thermals and terrain always had it screwed up. i have to use weather underground app and then based on change in temp and predetermined actual wind for the station reported wind i know which way it's going. dbHunterNY
i use OnX. property owner records lag behind a bit but some property out this way changes hands multiple times a year. i have another county tax site link to verify that. borders seem to be very accurate and consistent with county tax maps. topo overlayed too. line distance tool is good to have and area shape tool maps out bedding or food plots or shooting lanes while on foot, etc.
LICOASTIE
I have onX and really like it. It’s great being able to see property boundaries and ownership. I drop waypoints all the time for both fishing and hunting. Go on Camofire.com and they sometimes have the premium onX membership for $60 a year. Hock3y24
Onx is great, the property owners are inaccurate of sold within the last year. Used it 3 years now. You can get it for $22 for a year. Google 30% off

FullDraw_9x
I’ve been using it for the past 3 years and property ownership has not been updated for the area I hunt.
mowin
I purchased my property 2 yrs ago. The old owner is sill showing. I called ONX and the lady said they update once a yr thought the county records. So I called the county clerk's office and was told the county doesn't update their records ever yr, and it might be several yrs because of how often properties change hands. They make sure I get my tax bill tho. Edited September 13, 2020 by mowin

FullDraw_9x
One property I hunt was bought 2.5 years ago and was updated on the county maps but onX still shows the previous owners name.
