Non the less it’s exciting and my 12yr olds gonna really enjoy this fall!!

Red
My son turns 12 this August we're both pumped for the change. Time to start putting that life time license that he got for his first bday to use.
Pygmy
About damn time....PA has had 12 as a minimum age forever, and some state have no minimum...
Moho81
Another year to go for me. Time to get a lefty .270 and get her shooting Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
GreenDrake
I am not overly excited about 12 yr olds using a gun. A lot can go wrong very quickly in the heat if the moment even with supervision. There is nothing wrong with tagging along snd learning by watching before being able to fully participate. Most of us were 16 before shooting and we all did fine. I’m sure many will disagree. 1
doebuck1234
Wish this was around when i started.my grandfather and great uncle used to complain all the time that i couldnt carry (bow/gun)while out with them!!!!
Buckmaster7600
I think an age is asinine, it should be up to the parents! I killed my first deer when I was 7. If my 13 yr old could have started when she was around that age, before everything else in her life got in the way of hunting she would be a lot more into it!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
dbHunterNY
I've been busy and meaning to post about this. Our local NDA Branch here has been plugging it hard and talking to town Supervisors or legislators when the county has them.Your county has to pass resolution accepting it before June 1st in order to have it published in the regs guide. Otherwise it's passed before September I'm time for deer season.Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk
josephmrtn
Im excited to see this and wish they would drop the age even more for bow. My son already joins me in the woods but I would love to give him the opportunity to harvest his first deer or turkey before he turns 12.
