Dark Meat or White Meat?

Doesn't matter to me unless it's on a sandwich or in a pot pie, white on a sandwich, dark for a pot pie, and both for soups.

Our families Stopped doing Turkey on TG about 8-10 years ago and never looked back. I think @Bionic in the same boat. I’m sure others are as well. So put 2 votes down for non-Turkey TG for us

Depends on the year. Usually chicken, or steak, or lamb, or seafood with sides, etc. this year my Brother hosted and did chicken, ham, stuffing, corn, string beans, pies etc. but with my daughter sick we ordered takeout from a prix fixe restaurant 4 course meal and got rack of lamb, stuff tomatoes, pies, etc.

Point is, we rarely eat Turkey except the occasional Turkey burger so why eat something nobody cares for on a holidays with family and/or friends? That’s why we switched years ago.

We always  do turkey for tg  but a  stuffed chicken or even better stuffed cornish hens are so much better then turkey in my opinion.

A friend of mine said he and his wife didn't care for Turkey so he went to Joe's Meat Market in Ontario  and bought a couple Prime Rib Steaks for Thanksgiving . I think they still load up the Turkeys with chemicals to make them grow big .

Right now I'm sick of turkey white dark otherwise, just had my second Thanksgiving dinner, whew! Prime Rib for Christmas. Extra fatty and well marbled. Nice demi glace and mashys taters and broccoli rabe on the side.

Who else thinks leftover turkey tastes  better the next day warmed up  then when you eat it just out the oven .
