Get as many broken game camera's that you can find and point them all on your property line facing the road with a few of them having a working camera to see who steals them. Print posted signs that state the entire property is now covered in security camera's with most of them being hidden except the one's on the street. Many times when people think big brother is watching it keeps them honest. That sucks Grow! Hope they where just lost!

Set up some game camera's on your driveway, mounted high so they are out of reach. At bare minimum you should get a license plate and possible make and model. Keep the binoculars in an easy access spot for quick viewing. Security camera system would be ideal.

Why did I not fill out my survey? Because they wanted it back in December, well my hunting season goes until January. The last thing I am thinking about in December is a survey for the DEC. Funny thing is most of the action I saw last year was after the survey period. If you want to survey someone for an activity they do then it should be done after the season is over not in the middle of it when all hell is braking loose. Gjs4 Every person with a license should have a vote, but way to stir up the pot.

Go pro is ok for close shots, less than 20 yards or first person shots. Otherwise I do not like them, please let me know how this cam is Eagle Rider! Biggest issue is no ZOOM with the go pro.

If you have enough land and it becomes legal I will buy you a coffee maker! I have plenty of good shooters that love venison, myself included! I have a local doe in my area, looks like she was kicked out, dispersal possibly. If she survives the vehicles I might have a local herd! Too cool!

Agree 100% But while I can not judge the skills they have I can sure judge the knowledge they present and that goes a long way, especially on forums. That along with the general attitude gives me a good impression of these people. I won't tell you the members I dislike but I will put a few up on the pedestal because I do admire them for one reason or another. Could be integrity could be the adventures they go on or just a great outdoors attitude. I can't post them all but these are some that get my blood pumping in a good way! Growalot, Phade, Grampy, Belo, Skyhunter(Don't see him much anymore), FastEddie, Wooly, Borngeechee and Lawdaz. If your not on here it does not mean I dislike you!

This post says it all. When I first came to the site it was all about hunting. If you are new and have no clue about filters this just seems like a political site. I would put the political post on a separate feed instead of the main site (recent topics). It would keep the clutter from that part of the site down and people interested in that part can click on politics to keep informed.

This is our winter hunting tent. We use to use the motel but I really like camping where I hunt, the time saved on driving is key. Only rough part is leaving we usually get snow and everything freezes especially the ground steaks. Last year I set up and took down the tent alone, unable to get the frozen tent back into it's stuff sack it became my passenger for the ride home. I also do not understand reading a book while you are in the middle of the ADK during rifle season but to each his own I say!

Wow that's a big drop! Maybe they don't want to work anymore and figure if they change enough regulations everyone will stop hunting and they can retire? LOL Crazy So much for encouraging hunting.
