  1. Quoted from Doc! I tend to suspect that it boils down to some kind of liberal political statement meant to convince anyone who will listen to them that there is some display of superiority or higher mental evolutionary development that they are displaying with that choice. And like all libs, there isn't an ounce of reality or truth in anything they have to say.....lol. Bingo we have a winner!!! Done, enough said, lock it down!
  2. Resistance is futile, assimilation is inevitable. Will you comply? If internet forums cause you pain, simply leave or put on a thicker coat! I learned a long time ago not to worry about the other guy or gal. Most of the time it is out of my control and nothing I say will change a moron or make a idiot become smart or understand logic. I still try to educate and make others understand some things but after 3 tries I give up and usually just agree to end to conversation. I am never wrong I am just mis-understood! lol
  3. Fixed it for you Buckman4C. Wow real beauty, good luck with him!
  4. You had to learn about tracking to find the deer, now we just put out a camera.
  5. OMG you had me rolling with this post! Good one!!!
  6. No No and NO! Some have high class this is not that one! Not for me thanks!
  7. It is amazing how they can blend into the woods and ground when that white belly is not showing!
  8. Hunt sure why not, shoot? No, I don't want to kill the guy in the suit!
  9. The gopro makes it look much further than it was, only a 25 yard shot. But I will tell everyone it was 50! lol
  10. Funny you mention 10 seconds, I had this doe stop for a full 10 seconds to allow me to pick that hair I wanted to aim at. Starts around 1:18.
  11. I would say less than 7 seconds from start of draw to shot with about 3-6 seconds being the average time I probably shoot, more and I will start having some issues. When at full draw I try not to hold more than 10 seconds unless hunting, in competition I tend to shoot within 2-5 seconds of full draw, any longer and it will probably be a bad shot for me. I also try to draw below the target and rise into it as I feel going down from top gives me more target panic issues. Going from low to high is much harder fighting gravity and makes me slow down a bit vs punching once it's on target. I also try to draw directly on target as this makes it easy to keep it in the bow sight.
  12. I have to agree with most of the post above that state 223 is a bit light. For anyone who wants a good ethical clean shot 223 would be at the bottom of the list as stated before. Effective range would probably be 150 yards or less for most shooters. I use a 44 mag and even that is a bit light in a rifle. Most of the hunters posting above have many years of experience this is why we recommend a better caliber for deer. They know what works! 223 is an awesome varmint round but big game is another level up from that and 30 caliber is a much better match!
  13. Wish it was closer! Can't make it tonight sounds like fun, good luck.
  14. Good luck with him! Keeper for sure!
  15. Ban social media for kids, they should not need social media until they are old enough, like 21! Now you get all these kids posting things and getting arrested because they did not know it was illegal to have an opinion!
  16. Not even a dusting at this point in Huntington. Most of it washed away. Suppose to get a little colder so we might have some accumulation but it wont last. Send the rest of this years snow down here on LI we can take it! And our deer don't mind they have it easy here as long as the cold is not to bad. Many are born late here but many also make it through the winter. Hoping for some early thaw out up north to help the deer out!
  17. I thought I only saw these things, glad you got them on film!
  18. Live life like everyday is the last and one day you will be right! Another moronic game kids play and I thought skate boards where dangerous! Most people who live on the edge like this eventually fall.
  19. lol I remember being on the Nissequogue river and my buddy fell into the marsh up to his chest, funny to me but he was not laughing when he tried to get out. I did the same thing on another lake and almost lost my waders.
