Not sure I agree, with open sights I never take my eye off the game, EVER. How much quicker could it be? Even low powered scopes tend to be zoomed in which if the game is a long distance away sometimes you have to refocus to get them lined up.
-
Protest the no discharge law but I would not hunt or shoot until it was legal.
-
Yes, I keep the lower open sight set to 100 yards and the scope at about 150 but have never used the scope while hunting. Love it!

Fresh heart is always tasty when fried and fresh. If I take it I cook it that night. Liver I will skip on.

Too cool, I want one!!!

I think most of the Game Wardens are hard working and enjoy protecting the environment. Not exactly a high paying job but in NY they are one of the highest. Nothing but good experiences with them over the years and happy they are helping out.

Welcome aboard! Great site, great people!

Not that bad here on LI weather says its 21 deg out. Not sure if I want to do the 3D shoot tomorrow. New string on bow I should at least go set up the sight and test. Thinking it can wait? YES!

Sounds like you need tech support from them, going to be hard for someone to know what you are talking about and how to actually get it from the camera to you, might not be something a non-tech can do. Check to see if it has a firmware update, if it does it should replace the text file for you, hopefully but it sounds like you need tech support from Primos not customer support.

I put mine together with parts from Hurricane Sandy so its about 4 year old parts as they where relatively new computers. Performance is good for a Dell. If your having issues make sure you back up your files! Get an external back up drive!

Due to how fast it is, if you find something faster it would be surprising to say the least. Impossible barrier at this stage. As much as we would like to do warp speeds and explore the universe it is almost impossible with the tech we have today. Bending or using worm holes is the only solution for long distance travel. Problem is when you got back from your trip everyone you know would be dead as time would slow for you and keep going normally for everyone else on the planet. Many things we are starting to understand, I just hope we do not all disappear due to some weird experiment gone awry to prove some theory like creating a black hole. Considering most planets we would explore are more than a light year away I would be temped to say we will never get to explore them, ever. But if we did it would probably be a one way trip.

Not true. Basically if you want to carry a knife the simple rule is make it small or carry it exposed in a sheath on your belt. You can carry a bowie knife if it is exposed but carry a switch blade or any spring or automatic opening knife in your pocket and you can get into trouble if caught. I can flip any buck knife open with one hand, they are perfectly legal if under a certain size (Not sure if that is still in effect but why take a chance.) otherwise they need to be in a sheath on your belt exposed like a gun would be. Anything larger than a certain size has to be exposed or it is considered a concealed weapon.

That looks like a spring assisted knife. Again that is illegal to carry as a pocket knife.

I try and find humor when things aren't always rosy.

Glad she is ok, enjoy it while you can life is so short! -
Looks great! Let us know what the DEC says on age.
-
If not full inclusion then 60 + should be exempt and disabled should be able to get permits easily. Full inclusion will probably happen and make it a non issue.

Called a Balisong or butterfly knife. Illegal to carry in NY as a pocket knife.

The problem is many times when you need a better option you do not have it available. Most criminals will only go after you when you are vulnerable and most times you will not have another option. Not so easy to go get a gun when you are leaving the grocery store heading to your car and 2 guys want to play knock out game with you. Or one idiot wants to steal your wallet after he gets you to the ground. I have a Kershaw and carry a beveled flashlight. Kershaw is great for wire, boxes etc. one of the best knives I have had. My new larger one is now in the backpack. The blade is less than 2 inches and less than 3 closed so its a perfect small tool and opens with one hand when working.

Close to a foot here on LI.

Into our 2nd week at Suffolk Archers this Sunday. I might actually make this one because getting to the hunting grounds might not be possible with this snow.
