Nice Buck! Congrats, the mount looks awesome!

Very nice! Congrats to your Dad! Any idea on age/weight?

This would be an early birth but as we know the deer do not always follow the chart. I have seen them drop around this time but it is a little early. Guess that is why many bucks start checking the doe in mid to late October. Did you find anything outside in the area of question? Make me wonder if doe make much noise when giving birth.

Very cool! Glad you reconsidered. Made my day!

Study Casts Doubt on Theory That Legal Hunting Reduces Poaching
NFA-ADK replied to EspressoBuzz's topic in General Hunting
Poacher is going to poach! Just like a criminal could care less what laws you make because he does not obey them. Otherwise I would have to agree with Wildcats 160 that in poor countries it creates jobs and helps protect animals. Did not read the article as they are politically motivated. -
The WB use to damage my fletching, no big deal if you only shoot a few hundred a year but I am up in the thousands. Switched to a drop away about 4 years ago. Had some issues last season with mine not locking at times in cold weather but would always work when drawn or if I worked it in a bit. One thing is for sure the WB is more dependable for just a basic hunting bow with no moving parts. Both have advantages and disadvantages. If you hunt and only shoot a few times a year the WB will work fine. If you shoot often you will probably get a drop away due to less resistance and damage to fletching. Not much of a benefit but if you shoot competitive at all you will likely shoot 1000's of arrows and the WB just has that slight disadvantage.

WoW he really didn't seem to aim that high. Seen him before he is pretty amazing!

It's fun ApexerER! I would bring at least 6 arrows 9 in case of damage or miss. Binoculars are sometimes allowed and helps with identifying the center area but range finders are not usually allowed for match play. Go with no expectations except to enjoy the day and it can be real fun with a good group! Don't worry beginner 3D shooters are always welcome!

I learned a long time ago not to let the idiots affect you on the internet they are just to abundant. Shame to see you go, if this is the end, thanks for coming and good luck with your outdoor adventures. Hope you reconsider and stay!

Can you do me a big favor if possible. 1) what are the general rules, do you shoot offhand? Are shooting sticks allowed, bench shooting, standing positions? 2) high scores, general scores, your score? 3)What where some of the distances you shot. Max and min and average. Thanks in advance, any help is appreciated.

Between this pig/fox and the aliens on mars I just don't know what is real anymore! I am so confused! Stop playing with my mind!

Great explanation of trophy hunting. I always try to explain to the laymen/woman that trophy hunters kill the least amount of game and usually care about deer population, habitat and food which in turn benefits many animals when they manage the land. Great article.

Very nice! Congrats they look good!

I don't use them but they have a very good reputation.

Polaris 500 Starting Problem
NFA-ADK replied to BigGuyNY's topic in ATV's , UTV's, Dirtbikes & Snowmobiles
IF the battery is ok it def sounds like a starter. -
Can't show and tell on LI without someone who will want to hunt that area or possibly poach it! So usually the area we tell you is not exact and kept secret for this reason.

And this was the issue I had with Chevy is that was common not the exception, it was expected after 50,000 miles to start having major issues. Who wants to get stuck in some remote area with a major brake down, or any break down for that matter! I hate this post too because I really love Chevy! And her I am bashing them. Arg. Long time ago!

It is a shame. Sometimes those "clean" people get in big trouble when they become unclean. Does not take much and can start with a prescription for some pain. (Look at MJ.)One thing is for sure, he will be missed by many. No doubt much more to him than many realize myself included. OMG I wore those parachute pants! lol

I just wish the Chevy would make them last because I love the trucks they have but do not want the headache that comes with the repairs. Worked for them 13 years and saw how they make them to brake down after the warranty is over. So after leaving Chevy I purchased a Tacoma in 2003. With the exception of a u-joint that went bad from towing in salt water and one oxygen sensor I have had great luck with it. No other repairs except normal wear and tear, tune ups, brakes, belts, bat etc. They really are built to last! 180,000 Miles plus! Now it is just for hunting and fishing as its sole purpose.
